My friends and I had a great time at the house it had everything we needed and the Property Caretaker Don Pedro was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Violetas house to stay in San Juan del Sur.

We stayed in the house next to the pool, the accommodation met all our expectations, it is very spacious, the kitchen had everything necessary to organize our meals and the views are spectacular. The rooms are a good size and well lit. We were also lucky enough to be able to participate in an event/meeting that John had organized and that included a very complete dinner in a super family atmosphere. I recommend asking John about his events and trying to coordinate your stay with one of them to live that experience too. Thank you for everything John, we will definitely be back!

Easy instructions, beautiful place, looking to go again in the future

The house is beautiful, spacious and great for family events. Every room has a private shower and restrooms. My family was so happy with the house. 3 minutes walking distance from the beach and 6 minutes walking distance from all the bars and restaurants. We are definitely coming back to this house. Beautiful place and at walkable distance to the beach. It was pretty close to different attractions nearby. Jose, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price and we will definitely stay again when visiting Nicaragua.

A very nice and cosy stay. Location is pretty good, not far from the town nor the beach. There is no internet or service but you dont really need that there ( you can go to the town, where there is some free wifi). All in all we were very happy, we had everything we needed and the people managing the place were very nice.

The private pool was absolutely incredible — clean, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery that made the whole space feel like a personal tropical retreat. The home itself was beautifully maintained, with tasteful décor and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether we were lounging by the pool, or enjoying a quiet evening on the patio, every moment felt peaceful and private. The host was responsive and welcoming, making check-in smooth and stress-free. If you're looking for a place that truly feels like an oasis, with the added bonus of your own pool, this is it. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Luis was very efficient with the check in. He even organized a scooter for me from Green Expeditions which was delivered to me in 20 minutes. Luis gave lots of great suggestions of places to visit on the island. The garden is very tranquil with hammocks and a great swimming pool.

Great unit to stay. If you need to check out before 8:00 AM make sure you arrange it with the staff. I did not know this and it was a bit of a hassle to check out and had to leave 45 minutes later then I wanted to leave.

Amazing place. Me and my family were looking for a quiet and beautiful place and we found it in abrazar. Louis is awesome, she shared a lot of information with me to ensure a great experience before and during our trip. Definitely we would love to be back someday.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in San Juan del Sur. The location could not be better—just one block from the beach and within walking distance to the best restaurants, the malecón, and a small marina area. It is in a mixed neighborhood, but that is something quite typical for Nicaragua and adds to the local charm. If you come with realistic expectations, this place is truly a great option. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, which was a huge plus, and a small kitchenette for simple meals. One of the best parts was the convenience of having a small pulpería (local store) right next door. The lady who runs it also handles the keys and was incredibly helpful at any time, day or night. It felt like staying in a real community. Victoria was super friendly and always available to answer questions. Her presence next door made things even easier, and we could get anything we needed directly from her store. We definitely plan to return!

Amazing Beach House! This place is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is spectacular—perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and relaxation. It's just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, which made our stay even better. We had such a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

My partner and I had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, easy to get to grocery/atm or restaurants. Having a scooter made things easier but everything is also walkable. We were surprised to find how windy this side of the island gets, but it keeps the temperature cooler and easy to sleep in. Our private hostel was spacious and clean - and coming from the U.S. we found the price to be well worth it.

Very good value for money. The kitchen and fridge are functional. The place is quiet and peaceful. The terrace with the lake and volcano views is beautiful! Ojo de agua and a beach are within walking distance. Possibility to rent a scooter on site at the lowest price that can be found on the island. Very good scooter, practically new. Very clean spacious accomodation. Bigger than I expected and yhe bed was so comfortable too. I must say I had a very relaxing stay here and I would highly recommend staying here.

He was a great host, helping us very effectively despite the short time we made the arrangements. The house is impeccable, very comfortable and spacious. The location is excellent. And all communications with great efficiency and a permanent smile.

The place is beautiful. It should be noted that it is located in a place away from downtown, which seemed good to me since we love silence. Keep in mind that you have to pass a river not very deep (we pass in a car easily). But it's worth it. 100% recommended to spend a few quiet days and get to know the surroundings.
