Sea view Apartment with balcony

John’s sanctuary in Lisdoonvarna is 100%, hands down, the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. The location is very out of the way in the best way - it felt so peaceful and was the perfect way to take in the Irish countryside. We received great hospitality from John, from check-in, which he assisted with on site, to local recommendations and prompt responses via chat. We will definitely plan another stay at this place again when in the area.

Lakeside Holiday Home- Private Beach & Lake Access

DawnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family and I had a wonderful time here. It was exactly what we wanted private and loads of room for the kids to run about. We spent the majority of our time by the lake, it was just so beautiful and peaceful. There was plenty of board games which we had great fun with every night. We had a lovely dinner in the local restaurant in Mountshannon and on our last night we were able to get takeaway delivered from scariff on Justeat. We also went to the playground in Mountshannon and went for a walk in the maze. Craig was a great host, he passed on loads of info about the area, where to eat etc. My only negative point is when we arrived there was a musky smell in the kitchen & sitting room area. All in all we loved our stay here and will definitely be back again.
A serene water surface reflects the clear blue sky and surrounding greenery. The calm water reveals a sandy bottom, with small fish swimming among dark aquatic plants. Sunlight creates gentle ripples across the surface, enhancing the natural beauty of the scene.

Super Cute and Cosy Log Cabin

AndreaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I loved the little cabin! Some things that we noticed as special: Kitchen had: -fridge, hot plate, kettlle, air fryer -olive oil, salt, pepper and vinegar -biscuits, bacon, and milk -incense ! Bathroom: - clean, nice shower - scented toilet paper Price: -good price! Beds: As the cabin is meant for 2 people, the accomdations are very comfortable. Myself and my 2 daughters stayed, so we needed extra space. The sofa bed was a little rough for sleeping, but she also put an air mattress in the loft. We had trouble finding it because addresses in that area are a bit vague with google maps. Its best to ask someone at a store, and they are happy to help! Also, there is little to no wifi in that general area, so be prepared with a pen, paper, and maybe a map. Marita was absolutely lovely, and the little town is somewhere Id like to visit again. Its a 20 min walk to my favourite pub, The Half Barrel, where I had the best pint if Guinness and the best roast of my life!

Secluded Magical Lakeside Escape

We had an amazing stay at Rose Cottage! We went as a group of 6 for my stepdads 70th birthday and we couldn't recommend this place enough! The hosts were so friendly and the place was incredible! They had many recommendations and we would definitely come back again in the future. Piper's Inn near by has the best seafood chowder we've had in all of Ireland so far, and the cottage itself was so quaint and lovely! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Irish countryside!
