The unit was cosy and well-designed. Perfect for a short getaway. We booked last minute and were so grateful for how smooth everything was. Waking up to the sounds of local wildlife made it feel like a peaceful retreat. A charming spot with everything we needed, set in a beautiful, natural setting.

A delightful experience made possible by the property's layout. The unexpected sights of kangaroos grazing at dawn and dusk added to the charm of staying here. It is the ideal place for people who enjoy peace and quiet.

We loved our stay in Jane’s cosy, warm and well appointed property. It’s close to all the restaurants and shops, but removed and quiet. We especially loved the welcoming food items and the laundry! We would not hesitate to return.

Roberta was a responsive, helpful and welcoming host - communicating with her was a breeze. Shortly after booking, Roberta provided us with local recommendations and notified us of local events in Castlemaine. Check-in was easy, the location is private and peaceful but a short stroll into town, and the house was beautifully decorated with all amenities for a comfortable stay. We would return!

We stayed at Vivien’s Rest for an extended stay while waiting for our house to be rebuilt after a house fire. The apartment was a real haven for us. The 1865 building at street level was charming, while the modern apartment interior was very functional with lots of light and delightful views of the surrounding area. The apartment was very comfortable with everything needed for a short or long stay. Lovely original artworks and indoor plants added to the general ambiance of this upmarket accommodation. The free wifi was also a real bonus. We enjoyed the large bathroom and comfortable bedrooms as well as the fully kitted out kitchen to cook our own meals. As well the location is minutes from the centre of town and only a short walk to some great restaurants and cafes and the historic Theatre Royal. Juliet was a real gem. She is a very thoughtful and accommodating host who responded very quickly to all requests. I would highly recommend this delightful apartment.

Cute set up for a quick stay. 3 bedrooms with ensuites and a little common area. Clean and fresh sheets. The restaurant downstairs was lovely and it’s a walk to every thing. And the locals are very friendly.

The Tuscan Room is a cosy studio apartment, set in a picturesque garden, just off the main street of Maldon. It is quiet and private but within easy walking distance of most attractions. Entry was easy with clear instructions provided. A great location.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Tobies Duke St Apartment. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. Photos and description were accurate and Tobie was excellent at communicating with us. An easy walk into town for coffee/lunch/dinner. Overall a reasonably priced, cosy apartment. Just be aware that the steep driveway mentioned, is also windy, but we managed it well with our smaller car.

Jane was very helpful and is a great host. The property is beautiful inside and outside and is spotless. I would highly recommend this property and would give 10/10 for everything.

The place was as described and perfect for a short stay with the family. The saltwater pool was lovely and clean. The place was quiet and within walking distance to Castlemaine city centre.
