I recommend staying at this place! Cheryl communicates very well and got us in under very short notice!

A. Lake House!

The place was clean with great sleeping accommodations. The beds were comfortable with plenty of fresh linen. Our group of guys were so impressed with the home that they told me to rent it again next year for our outing. Whenever I am in the area with a group, we will be selecting this home again if it’s available at that time. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is visiting the area in the spring, summer and fall for golfing the many courses at Canadian Lakes which is just down the street. The host was most accommodating when I had a question and responded to me within minutes. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

12-Bed Lakefront Cabin with Private Beach

Our family of 8 needed a place to gather for a family funeral in Michigan. We found this listing and it seemed like it would be perfect. It had a few more bedrooms than we needed, but it was fun that everyone got to choose, plus this house cost less than ones with fewer bedrooms. It is an older lakehome that has been refurbished with stylish decor, coordinated blankets, etc. The owners obviously put a lot of thought into making it lovely and comfortable. Everything we could possibly have needed was available...extra beach towels, extra blankets, plenty of Keirig pods, lots of storage space in bathrooms, etc. The windows of the two story A frame looked out on a small private beach on a beautiful lake where our three grandchildren were happily entertained, taking turns with the canoe, kayak, and paddleboard. The big deck was so enjoyable for watching kids, and we had an evening s'more cookout with the gas firepit. Perfect in every way! Loved our stay. Hosts were great.

We had a wonderful getaway at Maggie’s place. We loved everything from the decor to the stocked kitchen and the gorgeous yard. You can tell that Maggie pays close attention to details- anticipating everything that guests may need. The hot tub on the screened-in porch was absolutely perfect. Everyone in our group slept great in the comfy beds. Plenty of linens, sound machines, ceiling fans, and heat and AC. We lucked out with perfect weather so we were able to sleep with the windows open and wake up to the sound of birds which added to a perfect relaxing weekend with old friends. We were even able to enjoy some yoga in the well-kept backyard. We are already talking about when we all get away again so we can come back!

Mykayla’s place is a peaceful retreat nestled by the water, offering a quiet and serene escape. The surrounding nature was a highlight—deer, turtles, and a variety of birds were frequent visitors, and the fireflies in the evening added a magical touch. The location provided easy access to nearby golf courses while still feeling like a private sanctuary to return to at the end of the day. The house has all the needed amenities and the Nespresso machine was a nice touch.

We absolutely loved staying at the CDL for a long weekend. The board game room had so many options to choose from—we really enjoyed spending time in there, checking out new games and a few staples. Everything was immaculate when we stepped in, so tastefully decorated and oh so clean. Rex and Lynnette are top notch hosts and were available when we had questions or needed a refill of coffee beans. Such kind people! We stayed at the Yellow Door Lodge last year and loved it just as much. We will be back!

Waterfront Cozy Cottage

This place is awesome! It is way bigger than it appears and super comfy. Mattresses are the really expensive tempur-pedic and you will sleep like a king or queen. The fishing is also amazing, monster bass in these waters. Highly recommend and I will most definitely be a repeat customer of this place.
