A beautiful apartment fully equipped, warm and very comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and in the perfect location for visiting Alnwick. The rooms were spacious and a supermarket was just 2 minutes walk away. As an EV driver I would recommend the rapid Ionity chargers at Cawledge business park 1.8 miles from the property in preference to the ac chargers adjacent to the Malthouse which had a 4 hr time limit and charged at 11 KW max. The owner’s communication was prompt and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

What a smashing wee find, just what we wanted. The annex is well laid out and well equipped. The bedding was super quality [something important to me]. Easy to come and go and you park your car right outside the door. Worth noting there is a step down into the kitchen and bathroom which has a sensor light on it at night so not to much of a problem. We would happily stay here again.

Fantastic stay at Ian’s place in Amble, amazing location for everything in Northumberland as well as plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in Amble. Super property for couple or families as well we’re with lots of games and children’s books as well as all the amenities you could need for a long or short stay. Would happily stay here again if we were holidaying in the north east of England again.

We had a wonderful time! We were a group of six who hadn’t been away together before. We loved the spaciousness of the house, nobody was on top of each other. Plenty of utensils, (apart from the BBQ) towels etc and the views were spectacular albeit a tad too far from Rothbury and civilisation! All in all excellent!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amanda has been a wonderful host, great communication and wonderful welcome gifts for our stay. The house is spacious and homely, incredibly comfy beds and a short distance from the beach. Thank you Amanda for a lovely stay, we will be back!

Great stay in this lovely house. Everything was as described. Fantastic location with plenty of bars and eateries on the doorstep. We walked into Warkworth following a beautiful country bridleway and returned after 8 miles and relaxed in the wonderful hot tub. Leo enjoyed himself on the beach too. Fantastic stay, felt like a home from home. Lovely garden, good parking, well-located for shops and places to eat, near to beaches and just generally a great place to stay. Great communication from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

Recently stayed here and had such a lovely time. My mom flew over from Spain and myself, husband and toddler drove up to meet her (we live in the midlands) we were here visiting family. Lyns place was ideal. The location was fab, only 6 min drive to see my nanna. It’s a short walk to the beach (direct access) and the caravan itself was lovely. So clean and well looked after. Lyn had even put things in there for my toddler to play with - and a small chair for her to have her food. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier place. Lyn was so responsive and easy to connect with. The caravan is located directly across from the entertainment hall which was brilliant for my toddler (she loved the slot machines) and there’s a restaurant too. It was very loud at night (Friday and Saturday until midnight) but we just used ear plugs and was fine!! Would deffo recommend this caravan and we will be staying here again I’m sure. Thank you xx

Honeymug provided the perfect backdrop for our group of six meeting up to reminisce about college days forty odd years ago! The cottage was comfortable and cosy and the welcome basket of goodies was indeed most welcome! Very comfortable beds to sleep off the long, coastal walks and swims in the indoor pool. We ate in The Bosk on our last evening and enjoyed it very much, having sampled the Friday evening pizzas too! Everyone was a fan of the outdoor jacuzzi, which we booked each evening and whirled away an hour chatting to the various local members we shared it with! Everyone was so friendly and we learned a lot about the area. Highlights were our boat trip to Inner Farne, an afternoon with the Chillingham cattle, and a day spent on the beautiful and peaceful Lindisfarne. We left feeling there was so much else to discover and we'll hope to be back to do just that! Many thanks John!

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

Sue greeted us at the lodge on atribal and is such a kind hearted person. When she opened the door to let us in, we were blown away at the sheer size of it!! The photos do not do it justice at all - the lodge is one of the biggest we have stayed in with walk in wardrobes in both rooms. An en-suite to the master and a bath in the bathroom!! The decking got sun from mid day through night and it was tucked away in a quiet spot with a grassy area outside - probably in the best spot on the site by far!!! We went with 3 children (1,6 and 11) and were so happy to see there is a cot/high chair/ baby bath/bouncer/toys/books and lots of games for all ages - we could have left half of our stuff at home. The lodge has everything from air fryer to everything you could imagine needing from home. Sue - you have a beautiful lodge and we were grateful for the stay! Any message was responded to quickly and we would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone!!! Thank you so much ☺️

Had a lovely stay at Tumbler Rocks. The house suited our group size and young children perfectly. It was very comfortable, clean and cosy with high chairs, stair gates and a cot. The location was great too with Seahouses a short distance on foot (and stunning views along the way!) There were great options of things to do further afield too!

A lovely property with plenty of space. The listing photos are great but the house is better than the photos provide. Great location for local food, drinks, walks etc.

This a beautiful flat in a lovely area and is great value for money. The flat was spotlessly clean with a much appreciated welcome pack not to mention lots of teas and coffee pods too. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of glorious coastline to walk right from the front door. I definitely want to come back for longer next time!

Thank you Sarah for making us feel welcome. The bunk house is a fantastic little stopover in a historic and beautiful area and has all the creature comforts you would expect (with a few extras) 🙂 I would recommend the bunk house to anyone passing through.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay at this lovely lodge for our mini-moon break. On arrival, we were greeted with a lovely celebration hamper, including banners and balloons which was a very nice touch. The lodge was spotlessly clean, cosy and homely. The bed was very comfortable and overall, the place was very well eupipped. Check in was quick and straighforward and any questions we had were answered quickly and efficiently. The hot tub was fantastic with beautiful views. We particularly liked how private the lodge was as well. We also loved how dog friendly the lodge was as well, food bowls and treats provided was lovely. Overall, a fantastic, peaceful break. Just what we needed to relax after our big day. We will absolutely be returning in the future!

Very lovely & peaceful accommodation.Great outdoor space & a fabulous wood burning hot tub to relax in.Everything was very comfortable.The accommodation was a 5 minute drive into Alnwick & a really good base to explore the whole of Northumberland.There are no shops or pubs within walking distance ,the nearest are in Alnwick.We had a lovely week staying here & exploring the area & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.We will definitely return.Great hosts.

perfect base to see Northumberland. peaceful location excellent for recharging your batteries. within walking distance to small village. Debbie was the perfect host she catered for all of our needs. she provided a lovely hamper and the dog Also had her own hamper. I would recommend this accomadation.

If your looking for a place away from it all then this is the place for you. Great amenities in the cottabe and some nice touches provided by the hosts.

Where to start!! 10 stars for everything. The apartment is beautiful and has been decorated to a really high standard. All instructions were clear and it couldn't have been easier to find and to check in. Juliette was an attentive host and we felt that she was able to help, if needed. Juliette had written a book of local things to see and do along with some interesting folklore, which I loved. Rothbury is a beautiful place, with amazing and unusual shops, friendly people, and no shortage of places to eat. Bamburgh Castle was a short drive away and the apartment is wonderfully placed as a base for visiting other towns. We were lucky with the weather, so also made use of the private, enclosed garden to have a drink in. It's a dog friendly place, as is most of Rothbury. We arrived to some delicious biscuits and treats for our German Shepherd as well. I highly recommend staying here, and would return in a heartbeat! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
