It's a small cabin right on the water. Very scenic area, somewhat remote, but easy to find. There were several grocery stores nearby which was convenient. Not a whole lot going on in the area, but we picked it because it was a convenient halfway point for a long drive. The host responded quickly when we had a question.

Egil’s home was a beautiful and comfortable haven in the middle of the most stunning scenery my family and I have ever seen. Waking up to that breathtaking view each day was really special. In spite of the constantly changing weather on the fjord in May, we were still able to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub at the end of a day hiking. Egil provided us with so much good information and was always available to answer questions. He went out of his way to make a reservation for us at Christian Gaard for dinner, which was another unforgettable experience. We highly recommend doing this. Thanks so much Egil for everything. , We would love to return someday!

Vi tilbrakte noen dager i dette nydelige huset – det er veldig vakkert, med en fantastisk utsikt. Stillheten, roen og den koselige stemningen fikk oss til å føle oss som hjemme. Men det aller beste var verten – en utrolig snill, oppmerksom og hjelpsom person. Tusen takk for en varm velkomst!

The pictures don’t do justice. The view is phenomenal. I could sit by the window for hours and just look at the view! The place itself does look like your grandma’s house not in a bad way though but rather museum like way. Absolutely loved the place. Easy parking right in front of the building. We have the whole floor to ourselves. The basement is rented out to someone else. The host responds quickly and very friendly. Thank you for a fantastic stay we will remember for years!!!

Vi sjekket inn i det koselige huset på onsdag ettermiddag, og følte oss raskt hjemme. Her var koselig å være, gode rene fasiliteter, gode senger og en deilig utsikt. Vi tilbrakte flotte dager ved havgapet og kommer helt klart til å velge Siv Ulla sitt hus igjen ved senere anledning. Tusen takk 🤩🙏🏽

L’endroit était magnifique, au bord de l’eau. Encore plus beau que sur les photos. Un vrai petit morceau de paradis « au bout du monde » posé sur un archipel . L’appartement dans un ancien hangar à bateaux en bois est chaleureux, grand et fonctionnel. Arve nous a accueilli en personne. C’est un hôte charmant. Nous aurions aimé rester plus d’une nuit et espérons revenir !

We were so happy with our 3-night stay at Linda’s home (5 adults). It was a perfect introduction to our Norway vacation. Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, great shower, everything we needed in the kitchen (though we did not cook anything except a frozen pizza). The view was spectacular and Linda’s gardens were so lovely. She was the perfect hostess…friendly and conversational when engaged but certainly not overshadowing. This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! Highly recommend! Thank you, Linda!

Gelegen vlak achter het Norsk Fjord Senter, is dit ruime appartement een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor zowel Geiranger, de Geiranger fjord als ook Dalsnibba (Geiranger skywalk). De locatie is rustig gelegen en voortreffelijke ingericht. Een ruime keuken en verder prima voorzieningen. Gunn reageerde super snel in de communicatie. Met een eigen parkeerplaats hebben we 2 dagen lang de omgeving verkend. Een aanrader. zeker in de zomer om op diverse plekken te gaan hiken.

Jon is an awesome host. He is very friendly, always helpful and has lots of tips for hiking tours or anything else in the area. The apartment is very clean, well equiped and you can enjoy a stunning view from the balcony. I can highly recommend to stay there. Big thanks to Jon for all!!

Das Gästezimmern ist nicht groß, aber es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Alles wie neu und sauber. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf den Fjord und Nette Kommunikation mit Marie. Kann man problemlos buchen.

The house is surrounded by a spacious waterfront terrace furnished with cozy chairs, offering a picturesque view on sunny days, perfect for lounging in the sun while sipping coffee. Unfortunately, it rained the day we checked in, but we still managed to capture some stunning photos. We navigated straight here from the Atlantic Road using Google Maps, ending up on a dirt road for almost 30 minutes with terrible conditions. However, there is actually a main road leading to this accommodation. Please be mindful to avoid dirt roads when using navigation.

Highly recommended. I had a wonderful stay. You can’t beat the location and the apartment was in pristine condition. I would stay here again!

We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our stay in Ålesund. The apartment had a great view of the water and the setting sun. It was conveniently located to many restaurants, downtown, and to the hike to Aksla. It was clean and quiet. We really appreciated being able to use the washer. Elisabeth was very prompt in communication. She even texted when the apartment was ready so we were able to check in a little early. We recommend Elisabeth’s apartment to anyone considering it.

Behagelig leilighet, god plass til alle. Fin utsikt. Rent og ryddig. Hyggelig vert.

Close to the fjord, nice place

Wir wurden herzlich Empfangen und der Kamin war bei Ankunft schon an. Der Ausblick war super! Gerne wieder

Geräumige Wohnung mit allem was man braucht. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf einer großen Terrasse. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt.

We had a great time at the apartment. Communication with Anton was simple and fast, and the apartment was well located. On that particular evening people were a bit rowdy at times through the night right outside (what can you do? It's not a fault on the apartment) but otherwise a great stay! Thank you for hosting us!

Wir waren schon das 2. Mal bei Randi und sind nach wie vor begeistert. Man kommt in die Wohnung und fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Überall gibt es liebevolle Details. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Alles ist blitzsauber. Es ist der beste Ort auf Runde, um zu den Papageitauchern zu gelangen. Toller Parkplatz inklusive. Wir freuen uns schon auf den 3. Aufenthalt bei Randi :-)
