Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Cabin at Fjellsetra, Sykkylven

Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).
