NB .. the bedroom is in the eaves so limited head room & accessed by reasonably narrow staircase/shower room is downstairs (therefore not suitable to elderly or tall people due to the limited headroom / due to size of the bedroom it is only a double bed). Situated on the Cleveland Way this is a perfect spot for walking & within walking distance to the lovely harbour village of Staithes (25 mins)

Winnow Cottage is set in the idyllic North York Moors National Park. Dating back to the 1800s, the cottage has an open plan living and dining area with a kitchen and two en-suite double bedrooms. Patio doors lead out to a private decked area with views of the moors. The cottage is dog-friendly, 2 dogs welcome and accessed via a 1/4 mile rough single bridle track. Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.

Open fire for creating a cosy night in & perfect for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors either on foot, bike or car. Castleton is lucky to have two great pubs The Downe Arms right across the road and The Eskdale which serves lovely ‘fine dining food’ but also lovely just for a drink. There’s a Co-op store and a loose weigh shop Castleton lies close to the Esk valley railway to Whitby

This self contained holiday cottage offers a chance to get closer to the workings of a family dairy farm. It is situated in the North York Moors National Park, midway between the moors and the coast and just a fifteen minute drive (or slightly longer bus ride) from Whitby. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
