Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Monza

Everything about the house was wonderful. The only thing I would caution is if you don’t have a car and you have difficulty walking, it is not an easy place to get to. I will say it got easier each day. The bus was very convenient getting around once you get down the hill.

The hosts were wonderful & responsive - could not ask for better! The home was clean and well-appointed. Just as described! The enclosed patio was a PLUS. Location was perfect; 2 1/2 easy, walkable blocks to the Porto Romana metro station, 1 block from PAM (local, well-stocked grocery store) and MANY restaurants & cafes within 2-3 blocks. For a unique restaurant try VENUCCI just down the street. Excellent wine menu and pizza. Ask for Tonya - she’s a wonderful person and a nice host! Enjoy!

Perfect location, very nicely decorated interior with many antiques which give the nice atmosphere. Additionally, a lot of beautiful flowers which introduces nice mood. Silviu and his friend are very nice, caring and helpful. communication with them was great :DI highly recommend staying at Silviu apartment, everyone will be well looked after and will feel safe. There is a place for a car and bikes, which is a great advantage for those traveling with their own bikes. Highly recommended 😇

The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view is the absolute highlight. The rooms are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

We spent a few magical days in Argegno as a group of four, and staying at this house was truly the highlight of our trip. The home is full of charm, beautifully spacious and comfortable – but nothing compares to that view. The giant panoramic window looking out over Lake Como is absolutely breathtaking. Every morning and evening we found ourselves just staring in awe – that view is something we’ll carry with us forever. The balcony was another favorite spot of ours – peaceful, private, and perfect for a coffee or glass of wine while soaking in the incredible scenery. Thomas and Mattia were wonderful hosts – friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. The town of Argegno itself is a gem – picturesque, relaxed, and ideally located for exploring the lake. The ferry port is just a short walk away, making day trips super easy. We absolutely loved our stay and would come in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a special place with soul, comfort, and a view you’ll never forget – this is it.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this accommodation for the second time. It was a wonderful vacation again. It is a peaceful haven in a beautiful and quiet place. You feel at home there very quickly. Everything is quickly accessible on foot, by public transport or with your own vehicle. Lots of opportunities for walks, tours and hikes are easily accessible. We had a very pleasant stay at Daniele’s house in Como. He was very helpful and responsive—he sent us a video guide for the self check-in and explained everything in detail, which made the process easy and smooth. The apartment is located on the second floor, please expect a few stairs to get to the house. However, the location is convenient, with both the train station and bus stop within walking distance. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provided breakfast and snacks. Thank you, Daniele, for hosting us—we really enjoyed our stay!

The rental was beautiful with an amazing view. It took 10 minutes to get to town by car. Easy drive to Varenna and Bellano. The outdoor patio was great with a large area under cover.

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

We felt very comfortable in Ginevra's apartment from the beginning. Everything was clean and authentically furnished. The bathroom was large and nice. The bed and mattress are really comfortable. This is particularly important to me. In the living room, a cozy sofa and many travel guides that we could look at. Ginevra was so kind and let us into the apartment earlier or longer both on arrival and departure. This allowed us to store our suitcases until the end. The bar on the ground floor is often very noisy until late at night, but it works with earplugs. These are even in the living room for free removal. Contact with Ginevra was very good at all times and her explanations helpful! Accessibility is good publicly, but we walked everywhere. The neighborhood is really great, and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes nearby! I recommend this Airbnb!

What an incredible stay! Michele’s place has everything you need to feel at home, all in an amazing location. There are enough amenities nearby such as the convenience store and 2 restaurants/bars, along with bus stops and even the dock for ferries across the lake. The views from every window and the rooftop are stunning. Thank you, Michele!

The apartment is in a terrific location, an easy walk to great restaurants, coffee shops and bars, as well as being centrally located for all the great sites and attractions of Milan. The apartment itself is fantastic. Very spacious and anyone who loves 20th century design will love it! Davide is a very responsive host, very helpful and quick to return messages, and Mario gave us a very warm welcome with all the information needed to make our stay and easy and enjoyable one. Incredible stay. Location was perfect - beautiful and quiet. Ferry access in town and garage parking were great amenities. Private dock access was nice - Nicola helped us arrange a boat rental and we were picked up right at the dock. Clean, crib for baby provided. Nicola was very helpful and always available. A few things to note: for grocery store, 15-20 m drive. Trash has to be disposed at public area: 12m walk. Thank you Nicola, we will be back!

This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home and even better view of the lake and surround towns. Really what we wanted to get a relaxing yet fun experience. Would definitely come again and highly suggest for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

Great accommodation, very convenient location (cca 10 min walk from the subway). Clean and well-decorated house, equipped with everything you may need. Very friendly and helpful host. Parking space inside the courtyard. Definitely recommend!

My only regret is that we can’t give 6 stars on the evaluation and that since we want to come back it hurts me to advertise it to others!! Frankly, a part from the place which is a little jewel, the calmness of the surroundings, the spectacular lake Como, what we appreciated the most is the kindness and proactivity of our hosts. Wonderful place! 100% would stay again. Easy to park and go. Amazing views and comfortable accommodations. Even had a welcome basket! Local store has wine for $4 and you can grab items for breakfast before you set out. If going downtown get there early for parking. Great dinner spots all over. Elena was the best guide to meet us and get settled in. Amazing flute player as well. We loved our villa in Bellagio!

Beautiful house, very good location Pavia, Milan and Parma easily reachable while enjoying the tranquility and peace of the countryside. Maurizio was really nice and helpful throughout the stay.
