Le Fenil Gite

We are a small independently run campsite nestled in the heart of the hamlet of Montmérac situated amidst vineyards, walnut groves, cornfields and sunflower fields. The village of Baignes is just 5km south or the market town of Barbezieux is just 8km away. We are about 10km from the national route N10 which is half an hour from Angouleme. Cognac Golf course is around 36km away and Hirondelle Golf Course is 42 km. The nearest airport is Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport, 90 km from the accommodation.

House with garden. For family stays, or business trips with colleagues. All shops and services are within walking distance. N10 exit 4 km (2.5 miles) away. Ideally located to discover the Charentes: Cognac, Jonzac, Angoulême, Bordeaux, Royan... And, more locally, there are plenty of walks: the Étangs Bleus de Touvérac, the Thernes de Jonzac, as well as the Voie Verte and hiking trails. Refill Forbidden Cars parties are not allowed. Located between Jonzac Thermal Town (15 km), and Montendre (7 km), this house offers accommodation consisting of two bedrooms and a living room (living room/fully equipped kitchen). A dining area awaits you in the shade of the linden tree. You are ideally located between Cognac, Saintes, Royan and Bordeaux. You can get away from it all in our countryside located between land and sea, and discover our heritage along our Charente River.

A spectacular 200 year old barn, given a modern conversion. Bois Blanc is set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by cognac vineyards. The Barn has a cinematic view mezzanine bedroom, a decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
