The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

Chaumes de Villeneuve"Le chalet"

Located a few km from Châtillon en Bazois, central France, only 3 hours from Paris, the "Chalet des Chaumes de Villeneuve" is located in the middle of a large garden and surrounded by centuries-old oaks, all a few steps from the Canal du Nivernais. Its unique character and the calm of the place will offer you an authentic and comfortable stay in the heart of Nièvre, in the Bazois, with views of the Morvan. Close to amenities: bakery, supermarket, pharmacy within 10 mins.

Peaceful and quiet oasis in the Morvan

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 ha of land, a pond (very often dry), and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults; it disturbs the neighborhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction. "La Capucine" Gîte

Close to the Loire and the Canal du Nivernais, nice detached house located in the city center. Consisting of a large, fully equipped kitchen, a living room with sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed, and a bathroom. Enclosed outdoor area with terrace and summer kitchen. Parking in enclosed inner courtyard. Linens and towels included for the stay. Amenities nearby (bakery, bar, restaurants, tobacco, butcher...). About 1 km from the train station and supermarkets.

This large, fully renovated 3* cottage offers a quiet stay to meet with friends or family, or simply for a stopover night to discover our beautiful region. Located in the heart of a pretty little village on the edge of the Canal du Nivernais, lovers of nature, fishing, walking or cycling will find happiness there. Possibility to rent a room or to rent the entire accommodation for up to 15 people. 6 large 160 beds and 4 90 beds, bed linen and towels provided.

Our Scale

A lovely vacation home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farm with new elements such as a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on 2nd floor, fan on ground floor. The house is on the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

Terrace on the water, chestnut cottage

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.

The Bazois Stage

Detached house located in the heart of the Nièvre in a small hamlet surrounded by its meadows and fields. In the Municipality: ponds for fishing, supervised swimming in summer, marked hiking trails. Loft atmosphere: a large main room with sitting area, dining room, double bed (140 x 190), wardrobe. Bed and bath linens are not provided. Enclosed yard and garden (with garden furniture, barbecue) Secure storage for bicycles, fishing equipment, etc...

In the countryside "La petite maison" Charming cottage

Located near the Nivernais canal, "La petite maison", now air-conditioned and revamped, is a little piece of paradise along our meadows overlooking the Morvan and the horses. The calm and space will make you appreciate your stay in a home full of charm and very well equipped (Wi-Fi, air conditioning, sheets, linens and cleaning products provided, appliances). In the garden, children can run freely. Here, you're at home! Self check-in.

House, very bright and spacious, lost in the heart of Morvan. Large openings onto the forest and the pastures of cows and horses. The comfort and setting as well as the two wood stoves make it a warm place where the desire to settle down and enjoy the present moment predominate. You can walk or bike to many hiking trails. The garden furniture will allow you to contemplate the setting around a meal with family or friends.
