Hello and bonjour, My name is Nicola and I'm Scottish but love the fantastic countyside here in beautiful Burgundy. Our cute house with terrace and mezzanine is nestling under the magnificent Chateauneuf en Auxois. In 2 minutes you can walk along the Canal De Bourgogne taking in the wonderful views. Lots of interestings places to visit,wine to drink, markets, restaurants, castles, nature. Beaune 25 minutes, Dijon 40. Local market in summer in Pouilly en Auxois on a Friday. A bientot, Nicola :)

The little cottage was extremely pleasant to stay in! We were pleasantly surprised as the photos don’t do the place justice. It was so cosy, homely and had so much character! The burner gave the cottage so much atmosphere and made it feel very cosy. The bathroom was very nice, the kitchen is small but functional and I happily prepared meals in the space! The bedroom was comfortable and nice and quiet during the night. Thyda was super friendly and gave us lots of recommendations! Without her recommendations, we would have missed lots of local places to go! Thyda’s recommendations filled our Itinerary and each suggestion was great!! I can imagine the cottage and the area would come alive in the summer and would be an amazing stay!! Highly recommend!

A big thank you to Tracey and Laurent for hosting in this corner of paradise at the gates of nature. We had a stay cut off from the noisy world, in a simply bucolic place built by the hands of this warm and welcoming couple. We wholeheartedly recommend!

Very nice place to stay. We had a lovely family holiday. Héléna & Marie provided some nice recommendations upfront and good instructions. The area is very calm and peaceful, and at the same time relatively close to wonderful cities, villages and activities. The house is spacious and nicely decorated and has a wonderful garden. We would definitively recommend the place!

Fantastic location with a wonderful view, there is a very charming courtyard where you can have lunch or dinner or a tiny balcony with a view of the lake and beautiful hills, the inside of the cottage is very charming and you will find everything you’ll need for holiday break!, we will definitely be returning to this magical place!
