This listing is highly recommended! Spacious house with an amazing garden! All amenities are available. Children could play wonderfully in the garden, pool or stream behind the house! Absolutely recommended. Host Clara is very nice, communicates nicely and helps you on all sides. For example, we got fresh vegetables from her own garden several times and when we asked about a good restaurant, she called some of her own to book something for us. There is not much to do in the nearby area, so you do have to go by car to visit things. Only small downside is the fact that you can't get to the accommodation by car and therefore have to lift about 200 meters with your luggage over a somewhat steep path. All in all, a very nice accommodation and definitely recommended!

Our family vacation (4 people) in this place was an absolute dream and in reality much more impressive than in the photos. The entire property is immaculately clean and exudes a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere. For our children and us, the pool in front of the breathtaking mountain scenery was the daily highlight – a perfect place to unwind and enjoy. The location is fantastic to escape the ordinary and be active at the same time. We explored the area on several beautiful hiking tours. But what really makes the stay special are the hosts: Chris and Joanna are incredibly warm and helpful. Their hospitality is exceptional. We highly recommend this place.

Our time at Casa Torrento will always be unforgettable: The beautiful location, hidden between olive and fig trees, the wonderful pools, the cool evenings and great starry skies. Plus the warm and helpful manner of host Loris, whose tiramisu was absolutely world class.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay at Giulia’s blue house. Beautiful garden, clean house and Giulia was sweet and helpful.

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

The listing's frame and the listing are amazing! Beautiful views of the Alps and the accommodation a beautiful renovated old farmhouse! The pool is kept at a very good temperature which is really nice!!Martina's parents, who manage the accommodation and live next door, were really welcoming and spoke French very well! Which was really nice throughout the stay. The only small remark is that in view of the geographical location and the price of the accommodation it would have been nice to have the basic necessities (shower gel, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, sponge, garbage bag...) when you arrive. We had a wonderful time at this special place. Nestled in the hills in a peaceful village, it offers a stunning view of the Apennine Mountains. The house is so beautiful that you could easily spend your entire stay just relaxing—on the terrace, in the pool, or cooking in the outdoor kitchen. That said, the surrounding region also has a lot to offer: amazing beaches and charming, less crowded, colorful villages. I was a bit worried about the internet connection before arriving, but the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. Sometimes there were four of us working remotely—two in the upstairs living room and two on the terrace, and we had no issues at all. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Marjolein and her husband were incredibly warm and welcoming, and communication was smooth and easy. Honestly, it couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much!

Although we do not speak Italian, we were able to communicate well with Cesare and he is very warm. We felt comfortable immediately and for our stopover the accommodation was just the thing. Good parking even with a large car! Very, very nice and we will certainly come back.

Great host - lots of valuable tips and recommendations, even a nice local gift! The house has been recently renovated very tastefully, had all we needed. Area has great views, is very quiet and peaceful! Weekend there is a restaurant 5min walk distance which had great food, nice atmosphere. other places are further and reachable by car. all in all - we would return for a nice relaxing stay!

Large multipurpose terrace in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, great hosts and communications, great value for money. 30 minutes from small city restaurants and groceries.

The accommodation captivates above all by the beautiful nature in which it is located, the hospitality of Elena and her husband, who looked after us during the stay, and the authenticity of the buildings. The furnishings are not particularly modern, the beds and furniture are not really cozy and it actually gets very warm in the house in summer, which you do not expect, because the walls and the entire exterior give the impression that it will definitely be cool. The TV is so small that you can't really use it sensibly for eight people, there is no couch in the living room and few outlets. This list of small "defects" could be continued a little longer. But that's not the point. Anyone who is picky here has not understood the place. It thrives on the special flair, the seclusion and the hosts. Elena's homemade pizza will be a particularly positive memory. We would love to come back anytime to really take a break

A fun unique stay! The team is amazing and very welcoming. The description is correct. There is a pretty good hike up to the tower and there are steep stairs. However, the team will help with luggage to the tower at check in and back to your car at check out. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were so nice! I noticed the first night how fresh the bedding smelled. These things made the stay more home-like.

Anna was an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a success even though it was only a 1 night stay. She was so kind as to also organise a collection to her place and then drive us to the station herself the very next day. The accommodation was beautiful and extremely tasteful in its styling and appearance in every way. In addition it was also remarkably clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful retreat in beautiful surroundings.

We spent 4 days with family in Rafaella's house. It was his daughter, Chiara, who was in contact with us before, during and after our stay. Chiara was extraordinarily kind and caring. She patiently guided us on our journey so that we could enjoy the beauties of Tuscany. Attentive and responsive, Chiara was much more than just a contact, she brightened our stay and it is largely thanks to her that it was so pleasant. The villagers are charming and polite and you can get a few groceries in the village grocery store (run by a cousin of Rafaella) The only difficulty we faced was the language barrier. But with a little French, a little Spanish, a few words of Italian and gestures, you can still make yourself understood. Casa di Bruna is ideally located for different excursions (Cinq Terres, Pisa, La Spezia, etc.) We recommend this property. Chris

We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the fireplace perfectly functional, with wood provided free of charge by the host. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

What a fantastic tranquil and very traditional emilian mountain house. Extremely peaceful area and lots of patio space to enjoys the views. Elena was precise and so helpful. The value for money is excellent.

Mauro was a kind host who allowed us to check in early according to our needs. The apartment is convenient for walking but above all it has a private parking space included in the price (around the parking lots are all paid). Maybe a few more tools were missing in the kitchen, but overall everything went very well. Thank you.

What can I say, a unique experience because the accommodation is located within a beautiful medieval village... not to mention the impeccable service from the cleanliness and modern furnishings of the accommodation, to the service of the very kind host. Upon arrival, we found his mother, who was very nice and kind, and also advised us on what to do. Very quiet area, you can also take beautiful excursions in the middle of nature and a few kilometers away to visit the Cinque Terre.

We felt right at home in Marco’s home! The house itself was so inviting and homey—and it was very well-equipped! The gardens were stunning! We spent every evening in the backyard smelling roses and racing my toddler’s play cars— it was heavenly! The scenery is breathtaking and the weather was gorgeous! Marco was so kind and a plethora of knowledge and suggestions for things to do in the area and beyond! Plenty of linens, dishes, cookware, seating, etc. We wanted for nothing!! The local grocery stores had plenty of options and every Coop had a playground— a major perk to my toddler! ;) We cooked many meals in the kitchen with ease and my husband worked from home there without any issues with technology or connectivity. Marco was even so kind as to leave a monitor, keyboard, and printer! We only wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back! I cannot say enough about this wonderful home! My toddler keeps requesting to go back and we feel the same! Grazie mille, Marco!

So happy we stayed at Giulia's place. She is a super nice host who makes you feel very welcome. The place is excellent, with AC that was beyond wonderful in the 90+F heat. It's very spacious, has all the amenities you need--highly recommend! Side note: if you come by bus, you'd better have Google maps or similar to follow along with, as the stops are not labeled nor is there a monitor in bus to tell you.
