Condo vacation rentals in Monterey

I don’t have much experience with Airbnb, but this has been by far the most satisfying stay I’ve had. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for peaceful walks, and you can even watch the sunset right from the house. Restaurants and supermarkets are nearby, and there’s plenty of parking available. Inside, everything was spotless and fully equipped — the kitchenware and amenities were complete, and check-in was incredibly smooth. I especially loved Joanne’s interior design; it felt cozy and homey, exactly like the photos. Joanne was very responsive and thoughtful throughout the stay, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I truly had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again if I’m ever visiting the area.

Our stay started off a bit rocky due to a little mix up, but I have to say, the host went above and beyond to make things right. Kristina was incredibly responsive and proactive, ensuring that the issue was resolved quickly and that we were comfortable and happy for the rest of our stay. The property itself is beautiful with an amazing ocean view and access to the pool/hot tub that is very close. I really appreciate how the hosts had all the extras added to the condo such as chairs, air mattress, pack and play and cooking spices ext. It's clear they genuinely care about their guests' experience. If you’re looking for a place where the host truly listens and takes action, this is it. I can't wait to stay here again!

We had a wonderful short getaway at Sue’s place! The condo is just steps from the beach, pool, and jacuzzi. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was relaxing, and the ocean breeze was very refreshing. It was exactly what we needed to reset and recharge. Had a wonderful time at this Seascape 1 bedroom unit. It has all the comforts of home plus an amazing view of the ocean. It was well stocked with everything you need. Tyler was very responsive when I needed help with the television remote control. Without a doubt one of the best places to stay in the area.

What a beautiful villa! the view was amazing. The beach looks much closer in person, and the hosts were great.We loved it and would recommend to everyone.

David was a fabulous host!!! He was kind, accommodating, and quick to respond! The villa was a perfect location and the view was beautiful! The location is central to the pool & spa and restaurant. The villa was top notch, with several additional high quality touches which made the stay even more enjoyable. From the YETI mugs and YETI ice box, to the JBL speaker and coffee station. The bedding and decor was gorgeous and the vibe of the villa is coastal chic and peaceful! The guest book at the villa is so unique too! I 100% recommend this villa and David! We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The beachside location was unbeatable, and the family-friendly heated pool and hot tub were a big hit with everyone. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’d love to come back again. I don’t know where to begin. As soon as we entered the property, everything was perfect! From the beautiful decor to all the amenities one could need, she truly did an amazing job for her guests. I will definitely return to this house and bring my family with me. Thank you so much for the wonderful bar setup and for the flowers and cake for my husband. You will surely have more guests coming your way. I will always remember this visit; she even offered me an extra night, which was very kind of her. Annie is a fantastic host!

David’s place is magnificent! Right on the beach. We all enjoyed going to sleep listening to the waves crash. It’s in a wonderful area with a lot of amenities. We highly recommend!!

Perfect for a peaceful holiday within walking distance of a beautiful beach, warm heated pools and stunning coastal views. The apartment was super clean, quiet and we made use of the gas fireplace in evenings for heat and atmosphere. I was able to park in front of the property no problems. Will definitely stay again!

Oh, the views!!! I rented the space for family from out of town. They were over the moon. The location ‘right on the sand’ was incredible! That’s what you’re paying for. The home itself could be amazing with a few updates. A beach property will never feel clean with carpet. Just that simple change would make the home feel updated and bring more value. There is no light on the balcony, so bring a lantern if you enjoy sitting outside after sunset. Furnishings are dated but comfortable. Overall, the week with my family so close was the best thing I could ask for.

We had a great time at Seascape. The home was right by the beach and playground, also central location to lots of places by Santa Cruz and Monterey. The home was spacious for three adults, a toddler and baby. It was also very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

This was our third time at Shorebirds but first time in this unit. It was a great decision to try this place. We always come for the peaceful atmosphere and easy beach access. It was a great bonus to stay in a condo that felt freshly updated but cost less than our prior rental. This condo is managed by the resort so it felt like checking into a hotel. I liked the experience and all logistics were easy. Check out was an hour later than usual, 12pm, which was a nice bonus. Another perk and I think a personal touch from the owner was a selection of wine in the unit. I had to ask about it and was told that one bottle was complimentary with our stay. Wine bottles were from various wine producing countries/regions of the world including Chile, Argentina, South Africa, Spain, Italy, France, California. This touch was very unique and much appreciated. The unit itself is very comfortable, including the pull out couch in the living room. Bathroom has a bidet! We will undoubtedly come back.

We have been renting Airbnb properties in Capitola for years. This unit was by far my favorite. Absolutely everything was perfect. The place was immaculate and so well outfitted. I hope to come many many more times!

Spacious unit right on the beach. Great view from dining area while enjoying morning coffee. Direct access to beach or boardwalk for walks with the dog. Easy access to all activities in Monterey county. This could become an annual retreat goal.

I had a great stay! The Irene and Gary were extremely responsive, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Check-in was easy, and the suite was very clean and well-maintained. Although I only stayed one night, the space had all the necessary appointments and was perfect for my needs. Highly recommended!

The stay at Julia's was really good. The bedroom and bathroom are really nice. Furthermore you have a nice view from the balcony. Julia gave a lot of nice recommendations for the surroundings and even for the rest of my trip. Overall it was amazing
