Trotula Charming House is a historic-artistic apartment, renovated and restored in order to protect and enhance the original rooms. It is located in an ancient convent of the order of Benedictine Olivetani monks converted into a noble residence at the end of the 1600s, in the Historic Center of Salerno between the ancient Cathedral and the Garden of Minerva. On the thick walls the plaster and period frescoes dating from between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries have been discovered and recovered. The high wooden beamed ceilings, brought to light through the demolition of the false ceilings, once again ennoble the rooms. The privileged and dominant position of the building of historical-artistic prestige allows you to admire from the large windows the roofs of the Historic Center, the sea that bathes Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. The apartment located within the Limited Traffic Zone of the historic center is located in a building of historical-artistic prestige and is at the complete disposal of guests. The building is not equipped with an elevator.
