Family-friendly vacation rentals in Montagne

Myself and 7 friends spend 3 nights here and we had the most incredible stay. It is rare to book a unit where there are no bad bedrooms, but all 5 bedrooms in this unit were perfection! Comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and full private bathrooms in each bedroom. The kitchen and living room spaces were equally as great, and the hot tub was the cherry on top! We also loved the location right next to the park and walking distance from all the city's main attractions.

A small week stayed in this beautiful cottage with 2 adults and a baby. Located in a quiet park with beautiful surroundings. Camping bed and high chair were ready upon our arrival. Enjoyed the tranquility and the jacuzzi at the cottage. There are plenty of nice outings, but at a somewhat longer distance (as described). Nevertheless, we had a great time. Bakery in Sore itself was unfortunately closed, but the local supermarket also has a great selection. Owners are very accessible and friendly. In short, everything you need for a wonderful relaxing vacation!

A little corner of a dream, peaceful, surrounded by animals. Local and quality products available. Every detail is thought out, everything is in a short circuit. This is the real luxury of our time.

Stéphanie's place is as described. It is in a very good location, in a very quiet environment. It is very clean and very well-equipped. Ideal for a week of rest in the heart of nature. The spa on the terrace is a plus to relax after a day of walking. Stéphanie is welcoming, very friendly, caring and very available. She responds quickly to any questions. We recommend their place without a second thought.

Great Gite in a very tranquil and peaceful location. Well situated for visiting Brantôme and Perigueux and the surrounding area. Christian was very friendly and explained everything well when we arrived. Would recommend this host and this Gite if you like exploring rural France.

What a joy this cabin under the pines. Close enough to the city center and shops, the location is great. Quiet neighborhood, nice house with its terrace, everything is designed to have a pleasant stay. The bedding is excellent with bedding worthy of the best hotels. Mark is really nice, discreet but available if needed because he's close to the house.

We had a pleasant stay with friends at Joël's. The location is ideal for getting away from city life for a weekend. The many amenities, the layout and the decor give the feeling of being "at home".

The accommodation is very nice, clean, well-equipped and friendly. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We enjoyed the location, the calm and the beauty of the landscape. Excellent welcome, excellent stay, accommodation in line with what we expected but given the location of the toilets on the ground floor, the bedrooms being upstairs with a straight staircase, given our ages of more or less 80 years, the comfort would have been great. But that doesn't take away from the comfort of this cottage for young people. The village has everything you need to make all the purchases for a good life.

We were a group of 6 and had a fantastic time in Rachel's house in Thédirac. The kitchen was very well equipped for us to prepare meals, there were lots of lovely outdoor places to sit and eat, the garden was beautiful and well maintained (and a great source of herbs for cooking), and it was a real treat to walk to the bakery each morning for fresh bread and croissants. It was about 30-60 mins drive from the main attractions, which was fine for half-day or day trips. Couldn't have asked for more.

We loved our stay so much and look forward to returning. The house and extensive grounds are quite beautiful and very peaceful. Perfect in every way. Diana and her husband were perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Château de Monciaux. We were 12 adults, 5 infants and 3 children and there was plenty of space for all of us. They were even able to accommodate our request for 5 high chairs and 5 cots, which came in very handy. Agnès was incredibly helpful during our stay and responded quickly to our enquiries, even dropping by in person one day to help sort something out. I would definitely recommend this place to any large groups!

Catherine and Maxence set the bar high with their beautiful home and hospitality. A week prior to arriving, they’d sent a long list of suggested restaurants, activities, and info of the area, which was very helpful for us. They both met us upon arrival, showed us around our unit (which included a few regional specialty snacks and water — so sweet!), and then gave us a tour of the grounds — pool, walking trails, gardens, etc. Their love and deep pride for their beautiful estate and area is very evident, and they take exceptional care in sharing that with their guests! Maxence gave my husband several maps and guides with highlighted routes and activities, and was very thoughtful in including ideas for activities our kids would enjoy. We took them up on several ideas and they were all wonderful! Comfy beds, beautiful bathroom and kitchen, lovely private garden behind the house, parking on-site, a yummy boulangerie 0.5 mi away, and attentive and thoughtful hosts — a perfect stay!!

Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

Fantastic hosts, Laurent and Carole could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Amazing welcome package, well appointed kitchen, lovely pool and an abundance of towels. They were very helpful with recommendations and came to say farewell. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

Beautiful location in the middle of the vast vineyards. Beautiful large swimming pool and all privacy, wonderfully quiet. Very friendly hosts Badger and Mandie! Given the location, you do need a car to visit all the attractions in the area. Fresh baguette provided every morning by Badger. The house was sparkling clean, well equipped and you received a welcome package of food for the first day, and cognac! Highly recommended this house partly thanks to the swimming pool and the very friendly hosts.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Clos Castaing. Kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing on the Dordogne. Cycling and visiting local vineyards and St Emilion. The house is full of character, spacious and a perfect, tranquil base.
