Vacation rentals with a patio in Monsanto

Everything was perfect, the only thing that could be improved was the washing machine, although with the laundry in front of the apartment, it's no inconvenience. I highly recommend it!

I loved the landscape, it's beautiful and quiet, we have a restaurant and cafe + mini market 5 km away, the space has a beautiful view with swimming pools, barbecue, good internet, thank you Mr. Pedro, let's go back, the only thing that went less well was the fishing but it's the fishermen's fault eh eh

We had an incredible stay. The apartment is better than in the photos, everything is clean and renovated. Very comfortable for 5 people and a pet. We would stay again.

We had a very nice stay at Tom's flat. Everything is there and the flat is very clean. Good location to explore the area. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the “wall”. It is a small but spectacular house, inside one of the most quiet and secluded areas of the castle. It has a walled courtyard, which for us was an added value since we also took our bige. In fact, ALs that accept animals are always to be congratulated because they suffer from the scarcity. The house is in an area where it is difficult to go by car (although it is possible but the streets are too narrow) and Mr Luís was very helpful to take us (to us, to our bags and to our dog) to the house at check in, which was a great help. Even so, walking access is fast. We recommend it.

Recommended! All as described. Amenities clean and useful. Communication with Manuela is easy and efficient. Location: In about 10 minutes to the historic old town. We were in Guarda for 9 days at the end of March and felt comfortable with Manuela.

Our stay was one week and we were able to enjoy a lot of calm, good landscapes and country trails 2 minutes from the house. Soledad sends you a lot of information about routes, towns and restaurants and is available 24/7. It never took more than a few minutes to answer any messages I sent during my stay. Our butane tank ran out and in 20 minutes we had it changed. The place is very well maintained and the facilities are of good quality. They even have the thoughtfulness to have things like salt and pepper, scented candles or Tupperware at your disposal. Everything you need to live with the essentials for a few days. Small tip for future customers: if you stay longer than 2 or 3 days I recommend leaving the shower towels to dry outside the bathroom, since it is a very humid room and they will get a little musty. Overall, it was a very quiet and relaxing stay, a nice change from city life.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this space. It was peaceful, amazing views, and our 3 boys had such a great time enjoying the jacuzzi and jumping into the river. Quiet town that is the perfect escape.

The house is a dream! It has everything you need! The surrounding land and the views are incredible... Not to mention that it has tradition and very attentive details! Waking up to the sound of birds and flocks of sheep is out of this world! The space outside is also very well maintained and is nice to be with family or friends!

Hello Cristian! We loved being in this refuge in the middle of nature, it was just what we needed. It rained a lot and the house was really a cozy shelter for everyone, our children loved "the magical wooden house in the countryside"! We slept very well and it was a privilege to be able to enjoy this experience of living in a medieval village with so much history and beauty. We loved the shower! Perfect home to spend a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and escape the routine. You just have to do a little grocery shopping in the village and you don't even have to leave the house, you have everything you need to spend a good few days. Super quiet place, you can hear the stream, the birds, surrounded by nature. The house even feels like ours, it doesn't give that rented house feeling, very comfortable, well decorated, and with all the essentials. Paula and Luís were great hosts, always in touch to give us directions on how to get there, points of interest and made us feel free to reach out whenever necessary. Can't wait next time!

We found exactly what we were looking for: calm, nature, and a pleasant space for a brief vacation.

If you're looking for a place to rest and relax away from traffic and closer to nature, this is the ideal place. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, hygiene, etc. The pool that the house offers has a very beautiful view, and it's a good pool! On the other hand, the nearest town is Seia, where you can go by car (8 to 10 min). The location of the Airbnb is a very small village, there is almost no entertainment (which is good because there is no bother from neighbors). The entrance to the house is also very small and narrow. Overall, I spent 2 quiet nights, we made our own food and we only needed to go to the city once. The location matches the images provided. The host was very friendly, flexible and attentive.

Simon and Sue make sure you will feel welcome in their place. Everything was as expected and advertised and the little details make the place feel more like a second home than a rental spot. The surroundings invite you to explore but the amenities, specially the jacuzzi, also ask you to stay and enjoy.

We had the most amazing time at Hugo and Jennys. The whole place is just beautiful. Theres a great view of the river from the terasse and the pool is so nice. The kitchen is well equipped, we found everything we needed to cook and there was plenty of fresh vegetables in the garden that we were welcome to eat. We also highly recommend trying Jennys homecooked meals- it was great being able to eat on site without having to cook ourselves, specially when travelling with young kids. The food also tasted amazing. Our kids absolutely loved the place, pool and garden. Overall we highly recommend staying at Jenny and Hugos, the surrounding langscape is beautiful, the house is incredible and Hugo and Jenny are fantastic hosts. We are definately coming back ❤️

Very kind and helpful, understanding to our specific check-in needs since we needed to arrive a little later and he even started the fireplace ahead of time. He went above and beyond, getting us a tart pan so we could make a dessert after we just had the silly will to do so

A very comfortable and very clean place to stay. I had plenty of utensils . It had firewood available and a very comfortable beds. The accommodation is excellent.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks
