This dream home has a panoramic view of the surrounding greenery, yet is only a 12-minute walk from the Old Town. The apartment is on the 2nd floor without an elevator and is 145 square meters with a beautiful view of the Untersberg. The house is over 350 years old. The rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms have been renovated. However, the living experience is different from that of a modern, newly built house. IMPORTANT: There is a balcony, which is unfortunately currently closed and cannot be used.

The living area features a vaulted brick ceiling, enhancing the room's character. A cozy bed with a patchwork quilt occupies the space, while a wooden cabinet and desk provide functional elements. Natural light filters through the windows, illuminating the tiled floor.

2 lovely rooms in old town house

Situated in one of Salzburgs oldest areas, our 300 yr old house is central enough to reach old town in 10 min by foot. A bakery sits on our doorstep. The apartment has a living/bedroom and a room with small kitchen/dining area, and a small bathroom with shower. The WC is situated across the hallway, ca 3m from the entrance to your flat-only to be used by you. You are very welcome to use our large garden. We are also happy to lend you a bicycle (5€) or a tandem-the best way to explore Salzburg.

In einem denkmalgeschützten Haus am Fuße des Festungsberges befindet sich diese einzigartige Wohnung im 3. Obergeschoß. Von hier aus hat man einen selten schönen unverbauten Blick auf die Salzburger Altstadt und ist trotzdem etwas abseits der touristischen Routen, die durch die Gassen der Stadt führen, obwohl man nur ca. 100 m vom Kapitelplatz entfernt ist und etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß braucht, um den Grünmarkt, die Rechts- wissenschaftliche Fakultät oder das Café Tomaselli zu erreichen.

Apartment in a 19th century house, for 1- 4 in the old center beneath the castle/ monastry (sound of music), very calm, clean and cosy, ten minutes walk to the Mozartplatz, 15 minutes by bus from the trainstation. For our guests with toddlers/small children we are very happy to offer a Thule Sport 2 carriage for lend (10 euros/day). This way you can explore Salzburg by foot also with small children!

We loved our stay at Theresa’s! Theresa was kind, welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful and very responsive. Her place was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds, and lovely views. We enjoyed exploring the local area, which had incredible sights and great trails. Use of the bus system was convenient and easy. We would stay at Theresa’s again!

The apartment is very spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished. It’s truly a home away from home, with a full bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a large double bed, and a living room with a single bed. The layout can comfortably accommodate 4 people. More importantly, the apartment is within walking distance to all major attractions as well as numerous restaurants in the old town. The only drawback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor but there is no elevator, which could be difficult for people with mobility issues or carrying large bags. The host is warm, responsive, and extremely thoughtful. He goes out of his way to accommodate us during our stay. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Salzburg.

We only stayed one night, but I'm glad we chose Daniel's place. Check-in instructions were very detailed and easy to follow, and it had all the amenities promised. We stayed in room 3, which had a nice view of the city. There's also a common-area balcony facing the same way. It was also very nice to be able to do a load of laundry, with detergent provided! Common spaces and bathrooms are shared with maybe 4-5 other rooms in the place, but the other guests were polite and we didn't get in each other's way. The front door requires a key code, and we also had a key to lock our room.

이 숙소를 매우 추천해요! 메세지 응답이 빨라서 의사소통이 쉬웠습니다. 체크인할 때 잘츠부르크의 교통과 관광 명소들을 소개해주셔서 많은 도움이 되었어요! 일주일 동안 너무 편하게 지냈습니다. 불편한 점은 없는지 항상 물어봐주셨습니다. 바로 근처에 정류장이 있어 여러 관광지로의 이동이 쉬웠습니다. 아 그리고 고양이가 너무 귀여워요😭 방을 나갈 때마다 고양이를 마주치기를 기대했어요ㅋㅋㅋ 다음에 잘츠부르크에 방문한다면 또 이 숙소에 묵고 싶어요. 또 볼 수 있었으면 좋겠습니다.

Would definitely recommend! Fantastic location! Close to old town but away from the crowds and the noise. Super close to Mirabell gardens. Lack of air conditioning was not an issue in early June because it cools down at night.

The apartment is very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated with taste. The hosts have very nice taste. Our host always replies promptly and is attentive to making sure we have a pleasant stay. When we had a slight concern upon check-in and contacted her, she resolved it within minutes. We requested a crib and she was very attentive, even adding a cute doll for us. I would stay there again.
