I cannot understate how much we enjoyed our stay at here in our first trip to the Algarve region. Mario was very friendly and an excellent host. He gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, helped us find parking, and provided everything we needed to for our toddler to feel at home. The house is in a perfect location to walk to the beach and a variety of restaurants also. We would 100% recommend Mario and this location.

The house is a dream - typical fisherman's house completely renovated and retaining its original charm. The location is perfect - close to the pier and fish market, marina and many restaurants. A unique vibe and an unforgettable experience any time of year. The house has all the amenities you can expect, decorated with a lot of personality and good taste that make you feel at home.

It was such a a pleasure to return to Olhão, and in particular to Carlos’ unique home. Being our fifth visit it felt like “coming home” particularly with warm welcome we received. We love the area of the home and Olhão remains as charming and pleasant as ever, with everything necessary for a great holiday within walking distance. We look forward to returning again.

My wife, my 18 month old toddler and I had a fabulous stay. The children’s room and toys was very helpful. Everything was as described. Beautiful and welcoming home.

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We had a wonderful week stay at Casa Margarida. The house is beautiful, over several levels with terraces and balconies and a wonderful roof terrace for eating and sunbathing. It is decorated really nicely and has a lovely shower and separate toilet too. The kitchen is well equipped as well as other cooking ingredients there and a delicious pastel de nata on arrival! It is easy to walk into Olhao and wander around the delightful town with it's fantastic restaurants and there is a lovely coffee shop nearby called Cafe Tinto, selling amazing coffee and sandwiches. The choice of where to eat is vast and all of it delicious and amazing fresh fish! Also is easy to hop on the ferry across to the gorgeous island beaches. A great holiday and we would love to return! Our stay exceeded all our expectations. What a beautiful house, with all the comforts. We felt right at home. There was a lovely swimming pool with private beds. Communication with João and Sandrine went smoothly and always friendly. The house was rural but still close to all the beaches and villages and restaurants. Private transport is important. In short, recommended. ❤️

In a word. Spectacular. Every detail of Persia's home was well thought out. You walk inside and instantly are taken away into a wonderful retreat. We had an amazing time. We spent some evenings walking the boardwalk, eating at nice restaurants and chatting with the locals. Our stay also afforded us time to explore the southern coast of Portugal. The caves of Benagil. Bucket list item. And only a short drive away. We shopped at Aldi. Even brought our own Aldi bag from the states. (Pro-tip: get the fresh-made Aldi bread. Thank us later.) Some reviews reference the bar across the street. It didn't bother us at all. Some noise, but nothing over the top. After a busy day sight-seeing, we fell into the comfortable bed and never had any trouble falling asleep. Great bathroom and closet storage setup. We've stayed in Airbnb's all over the world, and this one is easily at the top of the list. Book Persia's place now!

The apartment is in a perfect location. It’s nice and quiet but also close to walk to restaurants. The restaurant next to the pool was awesome. So close to the beaches and the zoomarine park. Will definitely be going back!

We loved our stay at Hernani and Alda’s beautiful villa. It was easy to find, in a peaceful, family-friendly location (with a great walkable restaurant!) and not only comfortable but modern and kitted out with everything we needed for a week in the sunshine. They were refilling the pools when we visited - not anybody’s fault, just bad timing! - but our hosts were accommodating and helpful from the start, offering alternative swim options that kept the kids (and us) more than happy. We felt relaxed, looked after and very happy with our choice of accommodation - we hope to return one day.

Very unique residence, the building had been beautifully restored, amazing bougainvilleas. The pool is stunning. Modern decor and appliances, good beds. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great location, beautiful terrace, & great host! Patrice was super friendly & let us check in early which was great. She also was proactive to send pics of how to get to the Airbnb in advance which made finding the location much easier. We also really appreciated the washer and dryer. Highly recommend this place! Fabulous property, well furnished and equipped, extremely clean and spacious, beautiful location, relaxing and chilledwithin walking distance to the town which has many great restaurants to choose from. We loved the square which is a minutes walk from Feliz Dias again with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Lovely pool area within the complex with a bar, which is well run by a young lady who serves excellent food/drinks. Overall we had a great experience and would thoroughly recommend 🤩

Have just returned from a wonderful stay at casa Tropical. The airbnb booking procedure was seamless and trouble free. The description of the house was accurate and true to the photos. The property was very clean and was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, but the smaller of the bedrooms was very snug, leaving no room for storing clothes etc. Both stairways are steep and narrow so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Our Host Aleks was always very quick to respond to any of our queries and contacted us as soon as possible after the unexpected 12+ hour power outage which affected Spain and Portugal, to make sure we were OK! The location of casa Tropical is perfect, easy walking distance to the shops, ferries, market and restaurants. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the front, can highly recommend Petiscaria tapas restaurant just a two minute walk down the road. Definitely hope to return!

Amazing location, apartment has lots of space and fantastic outdoor area upstairs. Short walk into the central area of restaurants etc. We always found a car park near to apartment. Hosts were always responsive and helpful to clarify check in process. Would stay again if in Lagos.

This is a really lovely townhouse even nicer than the pictures. Fantastic location a few steps away from the beautiful harbour, many lovely restaurants and shops Yet really quiet. Supermarket 10 mins walk as is the beach. Has a great balcony space looking out on the harbour. Geoffrey & Morgan are great to communicate with. This is the nicest Airbnb have stayed in and I would highly recommend it.

It really is a fantastic space - bright, clean, plenty of room and a perfect location. Kinga and Robert were both perfect hosts and went out of their way to make sure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in vale do lobo

We enjoyed the place very much! You were far from tourism in a local area. The balcony offered a super nice view. You could also park easily. The place was clean and beautiful, you felt very comfortable. It should be noted that no basic equipment is provided (garbage bags and toilet paper as well as coffee capsules for the first few days). The decor was simple but nice. It should only be mentioned that there is only a small skylight in the sleeping area and that it can also get a little stuffy and warm if you leave the balcony door tilted and open the window. Unfortunately, the windows and doors do not have fly screens and we had quite a few mosquitoes in the accommodation due to ventilation (although ventilation was only with the lights off). All in all, however, we had a very nice stay and can highly recommend the accommodation and the hosts if you are looking for an authentic place to live. :)

Great villa in nice and quiet area. Paulo was great with his communications and instructions. Regular security patrols around the complex made you feel very safe. Highly recommended 5⭐

This house has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. I would recommend but we were a little unlucky as Maria had a problem with the management apparently. Tereza who was looking after us was absolutely lovely so didn’t affect us apart from messages from Maria regarding passing on keys etc.

We had a Great stay at la casa, it got managed very professionally , the Check in and Check out times got prepared for us in terms of our Whishes , which was Perfect and very nice! At all its a awesome suit and you cant do anything wrong with Booking it!

A fabulous holiday with my family here did not disappoint. Wonderful host, wonderful apartment and well equipped, lovely restaurants and shops within walking distance, beautiful beaches! We will be coming back!!
