We love meeting new people and learning about them and their lives, but if they wish privacy, we completely respect this. We like to make them a part of our family if they so wish, and we find that they and their experiences enrich our lives. We are there to make their stay with us as comfortable and easy as we can. If they wish to watch TV in their rooms or in the snug in the evenings, that's fine, but if they choose to join us, we're delighted. The property is surrounded by trees, set in the middle of 100 acres of woodland. However, it is a mere 5 minutes' walk from the village, home to shops and restaurants. It is also just over a 20-minute walk to the town and the station. The canal runs through the village, and is a lovely place to take exercise, and if you're a golfer, we can help you to book a round at one of the local courses. We have 2 bus routes within 5 minutes' walk of the house, alternatively an easy stroll along the Basingstoke Canal will take you directly to the town centre. Woking station is 20-30 minutes' walk away with trains every few minutes to London and to the south, and local taxi firms can be booked over the phone. Cycling too is easy, and there are numerous areas where you can safely walk and explore on foot. We serve breakfast each morning in the kitchen, and if you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know before your visit so that we are prepared.
