It was straightforward and exactly what we needed for a night out. The apartment is very clean and for short stays it offers everything you need. There are two sleeping places, the large bed and a sleeping couch. If you want to use it, it is helpful to let Rina know so she can get it. Also very cozy!

Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm manner. The place is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in every corner. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, extraordinary and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area and watched the cats and ducks and listened to the pouring rain. The Baldeneysee is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. It's a really nice apartment. Check-in was smooth and personal. The apartment owner's brother was very nice. There were cold drinks and sweets. The sofa bed was comfortable and it was clean. The only drawback: the WiFi did not work. Since we only tested it at night, we didn't make any further contact. We leave early in the morning. A solution would probably have been found.

Everything is perfect! Owner is very helpful and warm hearted, all questions been answered, wish we could stay longer. Amazing place and highly recommend!

The little house with beautiful old trees (a huge cherry tree, apple tree) is an absolute gem. The location is in the countryside in peace and quiet. The quiet at night is perfect. In the surrounding area, the house is surrounded by horse pastures and fields. The slightly wider surroundings are probably the most beautiful part of the Lower Rhine, thanks to the nature reserves. Absolutely perfect to explore by bike and directly from the vacation home. The house is very well renovated and in an absolutely new condition. It has been planned and implemented with attention to detail and in itself very generously. The furnishings are of high quality and in good condition. This gives the house character and style.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. We had a wonderful 4-day stay at this apartment! The location is absolutely great – located a little outside the city, so quiet, but also a perfect starting point for activities. The apartment was blitz clean and well equipped. The public transport connection is also ideal, so you can quickly get anywhere. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would stay here again anytime!

Very uncomplicated host, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great, very tastefully decorated, with creative solutions for a basement ambience. Anyone who values the opportunity to watch TV should have a suitable account (?) I don't know anything about it. Perfect for tired cyclists!

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at the apartment. The apartment is very nicely decorated and was very very clean! Small touches such as drinks in the refrigerator made you feel immediately comfortable. The location of the apartment is also very nice and quiet. Communication with the landlady was very friendly and accommodating. We could definitely imagine renting the place again.

We felt home. The appartment is just nice for 7. The bed quality is excellent, the linen smells extra clean. The house is equiped everything: From oil sugar salt coffee to dishwasher to shampoo to laundry detergent. Theres also coffee machine, dishwasher, laundry washing machine, dryer, hairdryer, lots of toilet rolls etc... Paul was very responsive and gave very clear instructions. He make sure we arrived at the appartment (Even we arrive at 1am). We forgot our key inside the house and "the rescue" is very quick ! (Very kind of him !) I recommand !
