The cottage is located on the banks of the clear Marukawa River. Gifu is famous for Shirakawago and Hida Takayama, but Enbara is also a nice place in the mountains, although it is inconvenient. The scenery of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a place rich in nature where monkeys and deer appear. The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. The water of the river shines emerald green in a slightly deep place, and the scenery of rocks and moss is also wonderful, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. There is a deck facing the river on the second floor of the inn, so you can relax while watching the river, BBQ, swing in a hammock while listening to the river, or refresh yourself in the tent sauna.

Tajimi Shukukitaya is a retro Showa-era private rental accommodation recommended for those who want to enjoy both Higashinoseki sightseeing and a sauna tour. It is a convenient base for sightseeing in Tsumagokoro, Magome, Inuyama, Ghibli Park, the monastery, Koresan Ehoji, Toki Outlet, etc., and it is also easy to get to popular hot spring facilities such as Tengu-no-Yu, Ryusenji, Yorimichi Onsen, and Yunohana Island. It is an old-fashioned house with tatami mats, where you can have a relaxing stay with family, friends, or even a large group of three generations.The surroundings are very quiet, and after enjoying the sauna and sightseeing, you can spend a relaxing time in a somewhat nostalgic space. This is a calm castle town where people still live today. Feel the elegance and forget your busy daily life in a room in a spacious and quiet old house. This is the location of the movie "The Father of the Galaxy Railroad", which was released in May 2023. Manshō Shōten also appears in the movie. The scene in the used bookstore in "Yakusho Koji-san" was filmed at this inn. You can walk or drive to the Iwamura Castle site. Please come and imagine what kind of battles took place here. There aren't as many tourists as in other tourist destinations, so you can enjoy the castle town life to yourself. Iwamura fans keep coming. You will be surprised by the calm and quiet after 4 pm. Walking along the main street at night, you'll see a row of lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the day of the "summer solstice", the sunset falls straight down the street, and you can see a very beautiful view. (It depends on the weather, but it's around 6:30 pm for about a week around mid-June every year) We also operate a retro kimono rental and dressing service in this building. Please make a reservation if you would like to wear a kimono. Guests staying at the property will receive a discounted price. You can relax in a renovated space in a traditional wooden house. A wood stove is available in winter and air conditioning in summer. At night you can see lots of stars and shooting stars. There is a floor space unique to the Japanese-style room, and there is also a space called "ma" designed in the living space, where you can decorate and enjoy seasonal flowers and trees. We can bring you a hot breakfast every morning if you want. You can use the kitchen to cook meals. Cooking utensils and basic seasonings (oil, salt, pepper) are provided. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house.
