Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Mindanao

Let me start with saying that Henny and Fiona are super hosts! They helped me so much, from arranging a rental scooter, tours and everything else i needed help with. Fiona has a huge network in the area and nothing seems impossible for her to fix. Henny is a great guy and we had some good laughs together. We’re both Dutch so it was nice we could speak our native language together. It felt like staying with family instead of just another aribnb. The apartment was nice and cosy and it has a separate bedroom as well as a kitchenette. You can also play billiards downstairs and there is a bar if you want to have a drink. All in all i think this is my best airbnb experience i ever had. Thank you Henny and Fiona for all the hospitality and help! Hope to visit again soon!

The host was very easy to communicate with, very hospitable , clear with her instructions for us to have to experienced a smooth check-in. We found the place to be very clean, with great space, very quiet surrounds with easy access to shops and the famous ihaw-ihaw lane in GenSan. We highly recommend this place and yes we will stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The pool is perfectly maintained. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities anyone could ask for. The balcony jacuzzi tub is also a very nice touch. The host is very approachable and will go out of his way to ensure u have a great stay. Everything about it is A+. I will definitely stay here again 🙏🏽

Superb comfortable stay here! Mostly due to the caretakers Analyn, Mhyl and family. Friendly and easy to communicate. Can take care of any needs and are always giving food treats, like pancit and other things, yummy and thanks. This is my second stay here. First in Feb 2024 and now March 2025. So far, I am expected to return next year. It's a peaceful, lovely, gated community with close access to everything. Thanks Michael as I truly enjoyed my full month accommodations here.

Absolutely fantastic stay! The place was spotless, and felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming, providing excellent recommendations for local spots and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was perfect close to key attractions yet in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. The amenities exceeded expectations, from the comfy bed. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay. The apartment is super clean and - in contrast to other places - without any insects or other little animals. You also find a hot and powerful shower. Another advantage is that the entrance to the studio is directly near an asphalt street. At other places you often have to use adventurous patches. There are no other guests, only a nearly unvisible Australian pensioner. The garden is very beautiful. However the pool is not here but in a neighbours garden. If you don't want to walk one kilometer to the White Beach (where you can't really swim) during sunshine it's better to have a bike what the owner offers to rent. My favourite beach was at Oceanic Resort where the water is deeper and the beach very clean. There are some mini shops around but it's better to drive to a real supermarket. The famous Alona beach was very disappointing because of the traffic. Be aware that electricity, water and gas is to be paid separately, in my case around one € per day.

I had a wonderful stay here. The house is very cozy, got a great size and is nice located. I loved the spacious veranda. The host was extremely friendly and supportive. Highly recommend to stay here

We were a big family and we were able to fit on the property. we loved that they have an honesty store especially we had kids with us and their supplies at their mini store are affordable. commending zai as well for assisting us the moment we arrived.

The owner, Mr. Celso, welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour of the house. He and his team were quick to assist us with everything we needed. About the house: Peaceful and private this place truly feels like home! It’s clean, fresh, and fully equipped with complete kitchenware. There’s a terrace, a grilling area, and even karaoke everything you need is here! Nearest beach: There’s a beautiful resort nearby called Cavanico. The only downside is that you have to pay an entrance fee daily to swim at their beach, which can be a bit much. Overall: 10/10 Thank you for allowing us to enjoy and stay in this lovely house. We are very happy with our experience! ❤️

We had a truly wonderful stay at this property. The interior and the pool looked just like the photos. Though the place is a bit aged, everything was clean, and the towels and bedding were fresh and crisp. It was clear how well David and his family care for the home — even the pool was beautifully maintained. Manager Allen was incredibly responsive and kind to our family’s needs. The firefly tour he arranged was an unforgettable experience — far better than others we’ve seen. When my niece wanted a nail service, David’s wife kindly took her. There was a small issue, but she did her best to help, and we’re very grateful. We also used the chef service — every dish was delicious, and both adults and kids enjoyed the meals. Our family had such a happy and memorable time here. If we come back to Bohol, we’d love to stay again. And lastly, thank you so much, Allen! :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alaba House Rental-Camiguin.From the moment I arrived the check in's process was seamless thanks to Ms Joyce clear instructions and prompt communication.The location was fantastic with easy access in any nearby attractions. The house itself was clean well organized and beautifully designed ..The kitchen was fully equipped wich made it easy to prepare a quick meal . My family and I had the most incredible and wonderful stay with Peter and Rowena! Their house, garden, and location and most importantly their wonderful hospitality and friendship made us have the most amazing time ever! The house and garden and location is magic, right next to the most amazing snorkeling with a reef right in front of their house. The house is so beautiful with all the rooms and facilities you need and the garden and pool is incredible with views over the ocean and jungle that is a dream come true. Peter and Rowena are the most amazing hosts you can imagine. We had such an incredible time with them. We had so many wonderful conversations about life, received incredible advice and ideas about all the incredible things you can see and visit in Panglao. Not to mention the most cute and incredible doggies!! We can highly highly recommend you to stay!!! kind regards Marc and Family

This was the perfect place for me and my family (teenage kids) to stay. We are not into resorts we like to be independent and cook a bit too. Loved the balcony and pool plus the kitchen, dining and lounge area. Our family had plenty of private space. A bonus is that you can make a shortcut to the beach through the new wing of Hennan if you use their facilities such as their great beach bar which has 2 for 1 happy hour at 3pm daily. It made the holiday and also the nice restaurant and deli next door at the Tip Top. Will stay again, thanks guys great hosts.

For someone looking for a peaceful, quiet place with an awesome view of the mountains and the ocean, this place is for you! I especially love the safety of the building with unique keys to use the elevator. Will definitely consider using the place again someday!

We had a comfortable stay, the place was clean, good amenities, and location was accessible. Everything is working well in the condo. We liked the service as well, the hosts were very accomodating.

I really enjoyed my 5 nights stay in Davao. The place is conveniently near restaurants, coffee shops, convenient stores and mall. I especially like that the owner is very accommodating and that the unit is furnished with appliances, including iron and blower and the wifi connection is strong. All in all, I’d stay here again and would recommend this place to friends.

very nice condo with a good size bedroom and lounge&kitchen , exactly as it looks in the photos ,good WiFi and has a smart TV ,kitchen has all u need . The place itself has a good pool and has a little gym and it's only a short ride to the shopping malls and has fast food places and a 711 in walking distance. Great location and ideal if Its your first time in davao

I stayed for 2 months and had a wonderful experience. The place was simple but great, perfect for a comfortable and peaceful stay. There was a nice table I used for studying, and the balcony view was one of my favorite parts. It faced the amenities and the gym so I could easily check if anyone was working out before heading down myself. I could also hang my laundry on a drying rack on the balcony, which was really convenient. Overall, it was a well-thought-out space in a great location. Highly recommended!!!

This place is such a hidden gem that I'm extending my stay. The internet is fast and reliable especially for me who connects through Ethernet for professional reasons. The room is on a quiet side and you can see the adjacent Abreeza Mall on the right side. Floor 9 has a gym and a pool. Abreeza Mall is literally the next building, so it's less than 3 minutes to arrive there. The staff in the building is very friendly. The room looks modern, and the host arranged for paid weekly full cleaning. The bed is firm and new, and good to help with back pain. The heat of the shower is above mild which was acceptable. The Air Con is good to make the space feel fresh. And all delivery whether from Grab or Lazada found the place easily, and there is a designated area for them to leave their deliveries next to the reception. Truly a peaceful modern well decorated space that is worth the money.
