She contacted us well in advance with clear check-in instructions and was flexible in accommodating our arrival time. She even met us in person to assist with parking and gave us a warm welcome with a house tour. We were touched by the little gestures—iced bottled water, delicious snacks, and her genuine conversation where she shared about herself and made us feel right at home. She even helped with our luggage and came to send us off when we checked out. It’s rare to meet such a hospitable and caring host. Highly recommended—we would love to stay again!

Excellent place for a family. My teenager had his own small room away from us. Super comfy bed, really spacious and nice. Convenient to 2 different transportation lines. Extremely quiet and safe.

Mitsuo was an amazing host, picked us up and dropped us to the airport. Recommended alot of spots to see around Kyoto. Convenient location quick 10 minute or so walk to JR train station and 3 min to bus. Nice quiet neighbourhood, older house but has the traditional Japanese charm. Very comfortable futon, tatami mats and very cool traditional sit down table. Thank you for our stay!

The instruction to retrieve the keys deserves to be clarified (it was indicated to turn one way, when we had to do the opposite), but fortunately, a very nice person at the reception helped us. After we left, I thought I had left an item in the apartment: the host was very responsive and helped me quickly, which I enjoyed very much. Thank you again!

The host is the most amazing and kind hosts I have been across in my 9 years of being with Airbnb. He picked us up from the station since we had large bags and a baby stroller. We had a good time at his cafe where he hosted breakfast for, he also had fruits ready for us when we arrived. The location is also simply perfect in terms of connectivity to public transport, restaurants and supermarkets. We hope we can stay here whenever we visit Japan again.

Well clean, new and quite place. Lin is very helpful and waited us until check in as we landed to Kyoto only late evening. We stayed in upper floor unit (20x), and we have no issue to carry the luggage up thru the side staircase. For those want to avoid, you might consider rent the ground floor unit (10x). Overall very comfortable stay for small family like us (with 3 kids), walking distance to Lawson, Mcd and other restaurant. This place is well connected to many tourist spots where within 20 mins driving - the parking space is essential given parking fees generally is quite high. Will recommend and certainly one of the top list for next visit.
