Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Minami Ward

The accommodation was very well appointed and very clean. It’s great for a large group to stay and comfortably caters to everyone. Location is great for visiting Miyajima and as a base for seeing Hiroshima and attractions.

As others have said, the good people have betrayed a lot of expectations.♪ It is an old house, but it is warmer than I expected, and the futon is fluffy and comfortable. I really had a relaxing time with the frog chorus. It's full of items to enjoy, and one night is not enough! Please turn the road up to the inn on the right side of the navigation.When I made a mistake and turned one road up, it was harder than the narrower road with farm machinery. Fail ^ ^;

The house is very nice and traditional. There is a lot of space and privacy. The owner is very helpful and responsive and does what he can to make you feel at home. It is about a 10 minute walk from the train station, and he even offered to take us places if we needed. I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Great cottage, enjoyed it - especially the beautiful view of the river. Be sure to visit the temples in the neighborhood, they are very nice. You can only hear the street in the house but nothing from neighbors, I found it very pleasant.

A baby, 3 dogs (2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.1 dog (Mameshiba)), and 3 women stayed. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, a nice father welcomed us. It was a nice old house, and we had a comfortable stay because it was beautifully cleaned. It seems that the father of a former city councilor is running the island as an art city, and there were not only paintings, but also fine Hina dolls and May dolls. We were very grateful for the help lighting the barbecue. The separate bath also smelled of cypress and felt good, and fluffy towels were provided. I want to go again.

All of the Airbnbs we stayed in during our 4-city trip to Japan were wonderful, but we were still blown away arriving at Yumi’s. It was by far the most luxurious of all of them-in fact, we had trouble motivating ourselves to leave it to explore because it was so peaceful and beautiful. We wanted a place where we could explore both Miyajima and Hiroshima and this place fit that criteria for us. We walked about 20 minutes downhill to get to the Miyajima pier and opted for a taxi on the way back which cost 800 yen. The Ajina station was about 15 min downhill walk and then train to Hiroshima maybe 20 min. We absolutely loved this area and wished we had more time. Yumi was a great host and left us eggs, milk, coffee and bread so that we could have breakfast without making a trip to the store, and she let us check in early. 10/10 recommend

Nice place to stay and is in an amazing location. You can walk to any landmark and there is even a bus 5 min walk away. Loved my stay in this quiet Hiroshima neighbourhood.

Great location! Room had everything you could possibly need, and the building has a laundromat next door, which is also a big plus.

Great place for our family! We each had our own sleeping space and after a long day of traveling, we were grateful for the laundry, too! Apartment location was convenient to the streetcar and very walkable, and being on the 6th floor meant that we heard minimal road noise (just birds and the occasional train going by). We had great communication before and throughout our stay. Thanks!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The house is very spacious and perfect for big groups or families — there are plenty of beds for everyone. Located on the top floor, the unit is well-maintained even though the building is a bit older. The aircon is cold (which we really appreciated!), and there’s a proper dining table for meals. Our kids really enjoyed the stay too — lots of space to play and relax. While parking isn't included, there's paid parking very nearby which was convenient enough for us. Only thing missing is a TV — it would’ve been nice to have one, but not a big issue. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay!

The accommodation was perfect for exploring Hiroshima: comfy bed, spotless bathroom & wc, even a small kitchen. There is a closet with hangers, a balcony and the aircon works fine - very important for the hot summers. It is easy to find and close to the bus stop connecting with the city, the peace museum and train station. There is also a washing machine inside the building. Hiroaki was the perfect host. He gave recommendations for the area and helped me with sending my suitcase to Tokyo and getting rid of an old suitcase. He really makes sure that you are having a good time in beautiful Hiroshima.

Fantastic place to stay for a few days or an extended stay. Location is right outside of the busy city but only a 5-10 minute walk to the city life if that’s what you’re looking for. In the opposite direction you can walk 5-10 mins to go to a soccer game. There are multiple restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute walk and the train/bus is only a skip away that takes you all over the region. The room itself was clean, organized, private, and has security cameras on every floor outside of the apartment (pointed at the staircase). I highly recommend visitors to check this apartment out if visiting!

great apartment, really high end and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and just the sort of place you want to spend time in while travelling around. 20 min walk to sea temple ferry and atomic dome/ park / museum. good bakeries nearby and tram / bus stop 5 mins away. the location on a main road, and traffic noise, won't be to everyone's liking, but this is a lovely place to stay.

It was used by six family members. After sightseeing in Miyajima, I entered the city and stayed here.It was a rental car, but there was a coin parking lot right next door, so it was very convenient to grab and drop off luggage for children.Non-contact check-in was also smooth. The room was spacious and the bed was clean and nice. The next day, we went to the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, which was very close and convenient.

Instructions were easy to follow and the place was very clean! Highly recommend for groups!

A great little apartment in Hiroshima a short 10 minute walk to the Peace park and museum. The apartment is spacious and super clean. The only thing to note is if you have people going to bed at different times all the beds and living space are together so that could be tricky.

Definitely recommend River Villas! Nice, clean, and fairly close to main shopping areas!

We had some trouble finding the apartment initially, having been dropped off around the corner. The host responded quickly to my questions and helped put us right. We also had some other minor trouble that the host addressed promptly and thoughtfully. The apartment had everything we needed, even a photocopier for our ID documents, and was spotless and comfortable. We will stay again if we return to Hiroshima in the future!
