This is a rental cottage by the sea on Naoshima, a sacred place for art. There are two buildings, one on the ocean side and one on the mountain side, and Kai is the building on the ocean side. Free parking is available on site, which is rare in Naoshima. The building is a detached two-story building, with 6 beds in the bedroom on the ground floor and 2 futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, accommodating up to 6-8 people. There is a family-type kitchen and washing machine, so it can be used not only for family and friends, but also for student training camps, seminar trips, etc. It is a 3-minute walk from OHANA to the Venetian Art Site and a 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, making it an ideal base for sightseeing while staying on Naoshima. Enjoy a relaxing time on Naoshima in an interior with plenty of wood, handled by a local contractor.

Because it is an old house, there are steep stairs (without handrails) and steps. Please be aware of small children and people with bad legs. If necessary, please purchase them at a nearby convenience store or bring them with you. ※ There is no TV. There are some books and internet, so please enjoy a relaxing time.

It is the only stay facility around Shin-Onomichi Station. Our stay facility is a traditional Japanese style house and you will stay in the main building. You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. You can stay in this house without sharing the space with other guests. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge.
