Koru Apartment with pool in seaside town of Mimice

Our Koru Apartment is named after the Maori word koru=new life/new beginnings which was fitting for us moving from New Zealand to Croatia to start a new life in 2018. The Koru Apartment is part of Waterview Apartments. we have 3 one bedroomed self contained units on our property which has great views over the Adriatic Sea and at the rear over the mountains. A heated pool was built in 2020. We have 1 free parking per unit. Mimice is a beautiful old village with many beaches on our doorstep.

Opustite se sa svojom obitelji u ovom ugodnom smještaju jer vam nudimo sve potrebno za vaš idealan odmor.Apartman se nalazi u manjem mjestu udaljenom samo 10-tak minuta vožnje s autom do centra grada (Omiš). U blizini kuće na minut hoda nalazi se odlično opremljeni market.Pristup plaži je zajednički a do plaže vam treba svega 5 minuta niz stepenice.Plaže su prekrasne sa kristalno čistim morem baš iz razloga što ima manje turista nego u strogom centru.Idealno za obitelj s djecom.Dobrodošli!

It is entirely renovated and furnished in traditional Dalmatian style and provides you full enjoyment in absolute privacy during your stay. It consist of living room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and large terrace on which one can relax in shades and peace. And it is only 10 meters away from the sea!

We had a great week at Mariano's place. The water in the area is wonderful and the nearby beach is only visited by guests staying in the same house and/or in the neighboring house. As a result, it was very quiet on the beach, despite high season. The place was clean and well equipped - everything you need for cooking is on site. The two balconies are great - one has fantastic views, the other is spacious and also offers space for yoga exercises and the like. The only thing we noticed is that the doors to the neighboring rooms/apartment are a bit thin. This makes everything a little noisy. Otherwise everything is fantastic and we will be happy to come back! :)

Miro is a wonderful host! He is easy going, warm hearthed and takes good care of your needs. Also speaks good English. The apartment is estetic, smells lovely and well-equipped. The beach is somewhat within walking distance, but prepare your legs for "a couple" of stairs :D The high altitude compensates you when sitting on the apartment's terasse and enjoying the magnificent panorama. Anyway the area has many gorgeuos beaches that can be reached by car. You shall be early to have a good parking place.

A spacious balcony features a large dining table surrounded by wicker chairs, set for a meal. A scenic view of the sea is visible beyond the railing, while a stationary exercise bike is positioned in a corner. Sunlight brightens the area, creating a serene atmosphere.

Ivan is a wonderful person, always available but above all he knows how to do well the role of "host". For any problem or advice you can help you, it is really kind and friendly. I want to emphasize one thing, it is not obvious that a host will make you find umbrellas and beach towels for everyone, or a fresh beer in the fridge upon arrival (Thank you Ivan!) . The accommodation is very nice, it is pleasant to live, very clean and equipped with everything you need such as air conditioners, dishwasher, etc., surely the most beautiful part is the breathtaking view from the terrace where you can eat looking at the sea, we are 8 of us having used it every night. The pool is also very nice, simple but pleasant to use, especially in the late afternoon when the shade arrives at the sea. The only flaw is the climb from Mimice beach, which is a little uncomfortable on foot. Well-connected place to nearby cities, Omiš and Makarska. By car you can easily reach the beaches of the coast (all very nice).

What a wonderful place to stay! The lovely pool, the warm sea nearby, we had a lovely time. The Villa was well equipped with everything that we needed and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t do a lot of cooking but there were nice restaurants a short car ride away. You do have some steps down to the beach but it is worth the effort. We found the beach very family friendly and the beach bars good.
