It takes 3 hours from Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. You can see a totally different aspect of the city side of Japan. Green mountains, clear river, Firefly, many stars, rice field, Vegetable field. The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.

Haus2354: A whole house rental. 5 mins to the port

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.

These houses were built by the Mitsubishi Corporation around 1876 and are now designated cultural properties of Asago City. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.
