The room is fully equipped with a kitchen with cooking utensils, dishes, and a full set of appliances. You can bring your own ingredients and cook, or rent a BBQ set (for a fee) in advance. On the deck terrace, you can meditate in the clear air while listening to the babbling of the river below. In addition, the bathroom with a glass window is full of openness, and you will want to enter it as many times as you like in the morning, day, and night. And enjoy even more relaxation time in the new annex sauna building. KAIWA NO SATO This old house is an indigo mansion built in the first year of the Bunsei era (1804) during the heyday of indigo. The main house and the sleeping area (a barn where indigo was stored) have been demolished due to aging, but the historic living room and garden have been preserved to allow guests to experience a little bit of that time, and it is used as a farmhouse inn. In the old days, "Indigofera" grew on the fertile land of the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture, bringing great wealth to Tokushima Prefecture (Awa Province). Ancient documents on indigo, including cultural properties, are also available for viewing. The kitchen, bath and toilet are modern and functional, and Wi-Fi is also available. ▶ The guest house faces a lush garden where you can fully enjoy the beauty of the four seasons in Japan. ▶ Check-in time is from 3 pm to 7 pm. The host will guide you to the guest house. If you arrive after 7 pm, please check in by yourself.
