Built around 1770 out of cob and thatch, the Three Little Pigs, is an English Heritage Grade II Listed cottage located in the heart of the picturesque village of Milton Abbas throwing you back two centuries. The Three Little Pigs has been refurbished completely to combine the cosy cottage feel with a luxurious retreat for a peaceful escape in beautiful surroundings. Inglenook fireplaces, oak beams and decorated in classic English country house style. Really feel at home in style and luxury at the Three Little Pigs.

The Old Reading Room West Stafford, Dorset.

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.

The main living area has dual aspect and bifold doors out onto an enclosed patio, garden and seating area. Two of the bedrooms have internal balconies into the main body of the barn and triple velux roof windows to enjoy the rural views. We are situated 6 miles from Dorchester, and within easy reach of many Dorset attractions; Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, The Purbeck Hills, Kimmeridge, Southwest Coastal Path, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Weymouth, Swanage.

The village has a lovely gastro pub, farm shop and plenty of beautiful walks from your doorstep. You are also between 30-45 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast with it’s stunning beaches and breath-taking walks along the South-West Coastal Path.

No.3 is a self-contained property which was the extension of the original farm cottage built in 1907, now part of the hosts’ residence (number 4). It has it’s own separate access off a quiet unclassified road leading out of the village of Winterborne Whitechurch with off-road parking. The property has been adapted to provide all the comforts for a quiet enjoyable stay but public transport is infrequent so a car is recommended.
