Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. Cosy and quiet 3 story-house in the heart of the beautiful and historical centrum of Hoorn. Walking distance to musea, restaurants and shopping streets. Very complete, including 2 complimentary bicycles and a Chromecast for rainy days. Interesting for you to know is that we blok 2-3 weeks every year in order to do maintenance on the house. Guarantee of cleanliness and comfort for you. From 2022-23 nature park is the city beach promenade available only 3-4 minutes walk from the house.

Our cozy airbnb is located in the Weere, a beautiful and authentic place in the greenery. The rooms are ideal for travelers who want to enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature of travelers who are passing through. The surroundings are perfect for discovering several beautiful places in the Netherlands. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Volendam and Amsterdam are all within half an hour driving distance. You are fifteen minutes to the IJsselmeer and with half an hour to the beach.

Cat & Breakfast, the B&B for cat lovers!

The Cat & Breakfast is the place for people who want to get away and love cats. Through a (lockable) hatch, our cats Dix, Jack, Moby and Ted can look you up. In addition, you can get cat-friendly inspiration. The sustainable breakfast consists of homemade vegan waffles, an organic egg, organic cheese, fruit and sandwiches. From the C&B you can reach the IJsselmeer lake in fifteen minutes and the North Sea in half an hour. Nice towns nearby are Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn.

Apartment of 50 square meters. Kitchen with dishwasher and combination microwave. Luxury bathroom: lovely rain shower and toilet. On the first floor on the water with a spacious terrace. A short distance from IJsselmeer, Medemblik and other cities. For shopping, biking, hiking, surfing, kiteboarding or sailing. Pet welcome: max. 1 dog, 10 euro a day. Damage caused by pet is at the expense of the tenant! Hot tub is wood fired, 10 euros at a time. Barbecue is provided.

Deck and wheelhouse in Hoorn (parking)

The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!

"Papenveer", a beautifully situated holiday home

In the beautiful West Frisia in Oostwoud, we rent out a 4-person holiday home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is in a small vacation park. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. Papenveer is a cozy, spacious cottage equipped with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Welcome to our 17th century building, a national monument. Our building is located in the Prinsenstraat, between the old harbour and the main shopping street, right in the heart of the city centre. Supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants are located around the corner. Museums and other sights are all within walking distance. We are surrounded by harbours and water.
