This is a lovely property surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed using the spacious hot tub & we visited a local farmers market only minutes away. Then had a really great time using the grill. Would recommend

River House – 5 Stars My husband and I stayed in the River House for 4 days. We totally enjoyed ourselves there. It was exactly what we were looking for, peace and quiet while gazing upon nature at its best. The house is very clean, neat and crisp with a touch of warmth everywhere. It has everything you could want for your stay, making it home-sweet-home. The house is nestled between trees and situated right on the bank of the Shenandoah’s running river. Enjoy the lush green forest across the river while drinking your morning coffee in the sunroom. You’ll see that this serene setting brings a daily refuge of birds nesting and hummingbirds feeding to the top deck. The sunroom is so cozy and inviting. It seems as if the house is on stilts sitting over the running river. The River House has two large decks, a patio and boats for your family’s enjoyment. We had a great time at Corey’s cabin! My 3 year old asked if we could move there - so it got his approval, too! Views from the property are beautiful. Nice fire-pit and as a young family, it was nice being able to do a load of laundry before we came home. Corey gave clear communication before and during our stay that helped us relax and have a great time.

This house was the ultimate retreat! If you want a peaceful, secluded place to relax and recharge, this is the rental for you! Amazing views especially at sunrise and sunset. Wildlife abounds. Literally no urban noise at all, just quiet solitude. Don’t let the drive up to the property intimidate you, easily accessible as described with 2WD in the summer. Matt was an awesome host, very responsive! The house itself was spotless and included many welcoming touches. Pictures are completely accurate. Many nice extras included if you are bringing your small kids, including toys, pack and play and high chair. Convenient 15-20 min drive to Shenandoah National Park. We would definitely return to this property!

House was as described and comfortable. It is a peaceful area and our dogs loved having lots of yard to play and run, and patrol for deer. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch rain and shine. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee machine but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. Beds were all comfortable and house was clean. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. The gas grill and hot tub were both a plus. Great place to visit when you want to bring the pups with you. Not a lot to do in the area but a visit to the Luray Caverns is worth it as well as a ride along Skyline Drive. For little ones, there is a playground behind the local elementary school as well as a nice one in Luray. Walmart, Food Lion, Dunkin, and other stores are conveniently located in Luray. Triple Crown BBQ was a hit for takeout and Chop House Bistro was excellent for dinner out. As is clearly noted in the home, ticks are plentiful so dogs should be checked regularly - we found a few on them daily.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, relaxing cabin with great views and surrounding property. From the cabin, we ventured out to hike in the Shenandoah National Park and to tour Luray Caverns. We also hiked a trail on the property to get a clear view of the nearby valley.

Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

This place was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was perfect for our stay. We brought our 2 dogs and the cabin and surrounding area provided much ample space for our 2 labradoodles. We went to the national park which was about a 25 minute drive. The cabin was comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. The cabin is on a property with another house so if you want absolute seclusion that is something to think about. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area!

Had a peaceful, relaxing weekend with the family at the cabin! Everyone loved the hot tub and the kids settled right in with the projector / game room. Leah was super responsive and helpful with our questions.

What a beautiful and peaceful place to visit the past and full of history too!! The cabin exceeded our expectations!!! We will definitely make this a place we plan on visiting over and over!!! They even have a beautiful bank barn to host weddings!!! We needed more time to explore the beauty this place offers!! A weekend just isn’t enough time!! Our heads were on swivel the entire stay!! And somehow we ended up just driving around and looking for all the historic gems in the area!! Southern charm galore!! Thank u for being on Airbnb!! We sooooo fell in love with this little gem!!!

From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.

Our stay at Foxtrot Mokki was magical! Besides the sheer beauty of the property, the experience was seamless and made our vacation very relaxing.
