Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Mid Suffolk District

We had a really enjoyable stay at Holly's airbnb. the place was as described, in fact there was more in the kitchen than we had anticipated which was great. As a group of 8 (made up of couples and friends) there was loads to keep us occupied with the games room and to our surprise, there was a cupboard full of other board games. The garden is totally secure which is great as we have a dog so we didn't have to worry about them roaming outside and Holly had provided maps and directions for local walks which made taking him for a walk much easier. We had trouble getting the hot tub to a suitable temperature and Holly was on hand to help us resolve quickly. All in all, a great stay and we all had a lovely time!

Had an amazing stay for my birthday which the girls also enjoyed. Beautiful surroundings and was a little home away from home enjoyable for everyone and just what we needed. 100% recommend to everyone!

Fantastic Host and Venue. Always happy to help with any requests and even decorated the house to celebrate the Birthday Girls. High recommend going to the local Fox and Hound Pub for food, its literally a 30 second walk away. Will definitely be heading back here again for a nice relaxing break!!

The Pump House exceeded all of our expectations. The setting was breathtaking—surrounded by peaceful nature, with beautiful views in every direction. It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy some true tranquility. The architecture of the property is remarkable—thoughtfully designed with a stylish blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. It looks amazing in the photos, but in person, it's even more impressive. The accommodation itself was spacious and easily fit all 14 of us, with room to spare. The bedrooms and bathrooms were of exceptional quality, and every one of us slept incredibly well in the comfortable beds. We came prepared for the bugs, so I’d definitely recommend bringing citronella candles and repellent—not one of us got bitten! The remote location was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature—it made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend!

To be honest I don't like leaving the type of review that I'm about to. The reason being that the Roundhouse was so wonderful that what I am about to write may make it harder to book again, as everyone should stay there at least once! The property is even more unique, and beautiful, than it looks in the photos. It may be hundreds of years old but it felt like home the second we walked in through the great, big, front door. All the creature comforts that a couple could need for a short break were there, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It has to be said that I think the shower alone was worth the price we paid for the weekend as it was the perfect strength and temperature in a lovely large enclosure. If you ever want to actually leave the property there is a short stroll back along the road to Finchingfield. The village is the definition of picture postcard. There are numerous places to eat but I highly recommend the homemade pizzas at the Finchingfield Lion!!

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in! The barn is spotless, had everything you need - and wonderful touches such as garden games and board games. The surrounding area is peaceful - with birdsong all day long. We spent a short but fabulous visit enjoying the space, the garden, the views and the hot tub! Just wonderful. Shaun is incredibly helpful and friendly. We will certainly be going back!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially loved having a BBQ, soaking in the hot tub, and taking in the stunning view of the water. Honeysuckle, cabin was really amazing, nice and clean very comfortable and extremely well equipped with quality bedding, toiletries along with everything you could possibly need. This is somewhere I would be very happy to visit again. The host Richard was very helpful and on hand if you needed him, but left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility, in this beautiful relaxing setting.

We had the most amazing family stay for our mum's 60th birthday. The house was beautiful, interesting and fun. It had enough for all ages to do and the outside pool, tubs and eating space was perfect. We were so lucky with the weather and instead of going out to do expensive activities we made the most of the house, fishing, park and pub (so family friendly). We would definitely come back but would avoid the middle of summer as the house did get extremely hot, especially upstairs. It wouldnt put us off going back though. Stayed here with my partners family for the weekend, we had such a lovely time. We made good use of the pool table and the football table. It was very spacious with 7 of us and 2 little dogs. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Christine's lodge June 2025 for my 60th birthday; me, my partner and another couple, plenty of space for us. This is our second visit to this lodge (our first stay was Sept 2024) and it didn't disappoint. Exactly as we remembered and described in the listing, the lodge is beautiful with everything you need within it to make it comfortable. Felt like home from home but more serene with beautiful surroundings. The lodge park is remote but peaceful, yet not far from lots of local amenitities if you want them (note they are driving distance, not walking distance!) but this is exactly as we wanted it. Hot tub is perfect, not overlooked by anyone. Christine is a great host and her communication/updates couldn't be better. She replies promptly to messages and the detailed instructions regarding access to the lodge, 'house rules' and location could not be faulted. Thank you Christine and hopefully it won't be long before we can visit again x

The place if you want a quiet, peaceful getaway surrounded by the best of the Suffolk countryside. We had amazing weather for our one night stay. The bath was brilliant (takes a while to fill, bear in mind). The cabin was cosy and homely. I can imagine a winter stay would be equally wonderful. Being a Sunday evening and wanting a more substantial meal than was available at the closer (and offering food), we walked the The Poachers Pocket. About 1hr 10 mins at a leisurely pace along quiet lanes and bridleway. Looked like there was all you'd need to cook at the cabin and a large fridge. Would recommend to family and friends.

We had a lovely time at this special location. The bedrooms are all decent sizes and having two bathrooms is really handy. We made use of the hot tub and firepit. Charlotte was brilliant - super responsive and helpful. We booked the additional use of the swimming pool and games room. Whilst this is an additional expense it was a real treat and we would honestly recommend this to everyone for the experience.

Lovely place to stay for a few nights. Peaceful and very private which was a nice change from being in a crowded town. Suzanne welcomed us as we arrived and showed us around. Would 100% recommend and definitely would stay again!

I couldn't recommend our stay enough, the cabin was beautiful, absolutely perfect for a peaceful holiday. The highland cows in the garden were lovely and there were bunnies everywhere - so cute to watch while having breakfast in the morning. There are lots of walks to do directly from the cabins without needing to drive anywhere, multiple pubs are also walkable and coming back to a hot tub after a long walk was perfect. Jo and her family were really kind, and put up birthday decorations for us and there was a little hamper with fresh eggs, bread, milk and cakes. Jo replied really quickly to our requests and made our stay as smooth as possible.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I had the most amazing time at the Malibu Lake House! The location was superb, and the views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up to the serene beauty of the lake right outside our window—truly a sight to behold. Helen, our host, was incredibly helpful and always responded quickly to provide any information or assistance we needed. Her attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. This place is genuinely special and one of a kind. We loved it so much that we've already booked to go again in August. The Malibu Lake House provided a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return for another fantastic stay. Thank you, Helen, for making our stay so memorable!

We had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins! Easy instructions to find, and ample parking. Beautiful landscaping around the pod cabins, and although there were others, it felt very secluded and private. Very quiet and loved hearing the horses and birds. The wood fired hot tub was AMAZING and was the perfect place to catch up with friends. BBQ made for easy dining and we were able to sit out on the patio. Small inside (for 4 people) but perfectly formed and had absolutely everything we needed. Loved our stay and hope to return!

Just had the most amazing three day stay at Kingfisher cabin. It’s a peaceful simple cabin with absolutely everything you could need. Plus special touches such as a hot tub, fire pit, comfy outdoor chairs and a bbq. But the best bit about it is its location , walkable to Horstead Mill Pond and being able to swim along 1k to a nearby pub on the river. Many beautiful wild river swimming spots nearby including from Hostead Church & Buxton by Lamas. Sue is the kindest and most generous host and has a wealth of local knowledge. We couldn’t recommend a stay there enough.
