I recently stayed at this beautiful retreat and was thoroughly impressed. The entire property was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully maintained. The horses were gentle and a joy to be around, they even come close to house. was really nice to pet them. The spa and pool area was a true highlight: serene, clean, and incredibly rejuvenating. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or a bit of adventure, this place offers the perfect balance. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my return. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful place, pool is close by. There were Kangaroos and other animals around us all the time. Hosts prepared sticks against mosquitoes, so sitting on the deck was peaceful and we were not disturbed by insects. There were 2 thunderstorms so we couldn't visit pool every day as planned, so spa was a beautiful alternative. Good phone coverage as well (that surprised all of us). thank you

We are so happy we have found this beautiful gem. We will come back for sure! Our arrival was a bit stressful as we were trying to arrive quickly before the roads were closed (due to floods) and Jill helped us along the way even organizing a really early check in! We were also lucky to stay another night as the roads were still closed or just newly opened. The place is beautiful in the rain and bathed in the sunshine. We saw so many birds and loved saying hi to the chickens everyday. It is cosy, well furnished and extremely comfortable! It really feels like home! We will recommend it to friends and family when they come to this part of the world!

My partner and I stayed in Cadair Cottage 1 and we really really enjoyed our short time here. We were only here for a couple of nights but would have loved to extend our trip. There is so much to like about this place. Firstly, the surroundings are just absolutely beautiful - you are in nature and if you’re coming from a city landscape you’ll switch off so quickly. The cottage itself was spotless and had such a homely feel. All of the amenities you’d need with a fireplace, stove top, wifi, tv with foxtel and streaming - beautiful bedrooms and comfortable linen. The hot tub is also so nice to relax in and watch the sun come down. The yard (which is fully fenced) offers an expansive play area for your furry friends and our girl Peppa absolutely loved her time here too. She had so much fun. You are visited by neighbouring sheep and cows and it’s truly magical to watch them graze and trail by. Thank you, Simone - we can’t wait to return to this beautiful property again.

The house was just as it is advertised on Airbnb. It was quite spacious for 6 adults and the big wide verandahs was great with lots of stormy weather. Access to the pool and tennis court was great to get in a bit of exercise. The pool table and darts also got a workout . A great 3 days for a get together of old friends.

What an amazing experience we had with our little ones, from waking up to feeding the horses, playing on the swing set to walking around the property. Eloise was so helpful and communicated all information that we needed. Its a perfect secluded home for getting away with the family.

We stayed at Cadair Cottage 2 for two nights. It is such a beautiful place, and we had the most wonderful, relaxing time in pristine surroundings! Bonus: the cows come wandering past every morning. Simone will respond very quickly to any messages/requests. We also did the wine tour with Dan, which was 100% amazing! Had a great time, Dan is an excellent tour guide and knows an incredible amount about wine. Goes above and beyond, and is just an all-round lovely guy. Thank you so much for having us, Simone & Dan! If I could, I would have loved to stay here forever.

My partner and I stayed at Mike’s place over the long weekend. It was peaceful and lovely stay. Plenty of things to do: tennis, cycling, swimming (too cold for us tho), pool table, dart, jacuzzi spa, etc. The ducks are lovely. Christine recommended a short cycling path which was very peaceful and we enjoyed very much. The fireplace kept us warm. The bed is comfortable as well! We find ourselves reset after the stay. Worth the 3.5 hrs drive from Sydney.

We were in Maitland for a weekend of sport and Sally's place was an easy 14 minute drive from town - and a welcome escape from the noisy stadium. We were greeted on arrival with warm freshly baked bread and homemade treats, and made to feel right at home. Our dog loved running around and meeting the inquisitive cows and friendly horses along the fence line, and we were warm and cosy inside the cottage - and protected on the sunny verandah on what was a pretty cold and windy long weekend. Thank you Sally for a lovely stay!

Cliff was very helpful in sending through lots of suggestions of places we could visit during our stay. The accommodation is well maintained and in a very quiet area for a relaxing stay. it is also a reasonably short drive from local beaches and facilities in Forster, the lake is only a short walk down the road, and our dog was comfortable in the fully enclosed back yard. We enjoyed our time staying here.

Had a lovely stay at the Cottage. Comfy bed in well appointed and spacious surrounds and truly welcoming for our fur baby.

Suzie and Neil – thank you for having us! Your place exceeded your expectations; it really is better than the photos. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived and were greeted by both of you with homemade biscuits in hand. The views of the river were beautiful, the lawn of your place was immaculate, and the cabin we stayed in was very cute with ample space. We were all commenting on how we would love to live somewhere like that (a sign of a great holiday, I reckon)... From Neil giving us restaurant tips on the back of his lawn mower (like going down to the Wynter Tavern for dinner and drinks) to Suzie chucking us some wood for our fire, the whole time we felt comfortable, safe and relaxed. Would return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chill-Out cottage. Check-in was super easy. It’s a great property for families with dogs. The dog friendly One Mile beach is just around the corner, our doggies were thrilled. The cottage was very comfortable, spacious, clean and extremely well equipped. There are books, games, puzzles for rainy days and we enjoyed watching Binge and Netflix in the evenings. We will definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at sea eagle point. Great location - calm, relaxing and lot of area for boys and girls to run around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bellbourie. The location is amazing, the amenities fantastic, especially the beautiful pool on a hot day. Richard and Pamela were wonderful hosts who thought of everything and even allowed us to enjoy a bowl full of farm fresh eggs and a lovely bottle of wine. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we will definitely be back.

Connie and Phil were the best hosts, we couldn’t have asked for nothing more. The place is lovely, stunning views from the cottages and the facilities made our family feel at home. We stayed for 5 days but could easily be 10 as we had a fantastic time. The cellar door at the place is a plus, great wine, and Connie brought us a fresh sourdough on our first morning which made our day even more special. We definitely recommend for couples or families, and will be back as soon as we can ❤️

I found our stay extremely relaxing a step back in time may not suit another looking for modern convenience. I am use to using dam water. Some items need maintenance Electric blanket not working one side of bed. Some light bulbs need replacing. There was mould on cooking utensils and a strong ammonia smell when opening cupboard doors. I am only mentioning to alert you to these issues. I washed items I needed.

Lorraine and Glenn were very welcoming and responsive hosts. The cottage was relaxing, peaceful and serene. It had an antique vibes, located in to the woods which fit perfectly to our needs. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Alecia & Lloyd are wonderful hosts and they were proactive throughout the whole duration of our stay to make sure that our stay was relaxing & that all our needs were met. Was an awesome experience getting to meet their horses & feeding them.

Such a magical place! The cottage is tucked away in nature, full of flowers, birdlife, and even a herb garden we were welcome to use. Ashleigh and Jarrod were incredible host-very kind and welcoming. We spent a few peaceful nights here and left feeling truly refreshed. Would absolutely stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ken & Cathy’s lake house! The cottage is lovely and cozy, with a charming wood fire that kept us warm during the cold winter nights. The location is perfect, offering stunning sunsets over the lake—a truly magical sight to end each day. Ken & Cathy’s communication was exceptional, providing a detailed app with all the information guests might need. This was incredibly helpful and made our stay seamless and stress-free. Beyond the lake house, we had a fantastic weekend exploring the area and discovering the beautiful beaches nearby. Stayed at Jen's cottage on the drive back to Melbourne from Byron Bay with my wife and toddlers. The cottage was perfect and had games and DVD's for the kids (even a bag of popcorn!). Jen was super friendly, always helpful and provided us fresh eggs from the chooks and a jar of milk. My kids even got to feed the chickens. It was truly a lovely stay.

Love this place! A really relaxing weekend for two couples. Loved the bush surroundings. Not too far from coffee shops, a pub, and several incredible beaches.
