Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mexilhoeira Grande

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft! Das Apartement liegt sehr zentral in Aljezur und trotzdem ruhig. Es ist stilvoll eingerichtet, wirklich gut ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Auch die Betten sind sehr bequem. Von der kleinen Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick über die Landschaft. Die Hauptstraße mit einigen Geschäften, Cafés etc. ist in ein paar Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Zudem sind zahlreiche schöne Strände innerhalb von 10-20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir haben Ana nicht persönlich getroffen, aber sie hat uns tolle Tipps geschickt und war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Beautiful Airbnb right in the middle of Lagos, but far enough off of the main drag so it’s nice and quiet at night. Easy parking nearby and just steps from the beaches and restaurants. Maggie was communicative and helpful, and check in was very simple. Wonderful experience.

Séjour agréable, je recommande cet appartement pour les personnes qui aiment la tranquillité. Une bouteille est offerte par le propriétaire et celui ci répond à toutes vos questions très rapidement. Personne très agréable.

We had an amazing stay at Hugo’s place - definitely one of the best spots in Arrifana! The location is unbeatable.. right on the beach with stunning ocean views and the peaceful sound of waves all day long. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Simple but cozy, with all the essentials. Hugo was an exceptional host- very friendly, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. Great communication throughout our stay. The area is perfect for surfing with plenty of rental shops nearby, plus great restaurants within walking distance. Aljezur is only about 15 minutes away if you need supermarkets or extra supplies. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

This charming property was the perfect base to explore Alvor. The fabulous restaurants and bars are just a minute’s walk away! There is a well stocked grocery shop very nearby- perfect for water, juice and breakfast pastries. The beach is also a short walk away- we walked from the property, down the main hill and passed seafront restaurants where we could grab a morning coffee. The property is exactly as the photos show. Clean, well maintained and with a super comfy bed! We loved the ease of check in- the key safe lock made it super convenient. Thank you so much- fabulous hosts. We will return I’m sure!

We loved staying here. Anna-Lena was very welcoming. Her place is very special and has been created with a lot of love. There were also oranges and wine in our kitchen which was lovely. Anna-Lena took the time to share info on hikes and beaches. We love having locals tell us about special spots.

We stayed at Isabel’s villa for 9 nights, we were 4 adults and 4 kids. The villa is fantastic - much better than the pictures, well equipped with everything you need and very spacious (big rooms, lots of outdoor space, bbq and a big pool). We paid to have the pool heated which was beneficial as some days it was a bit chilly. The villa is fairly remote, we had cars but also used Ubers to get around. It’s about a 3-4 min drive to the nearest supermarket and a 5 min drive to the main town and beach. Isabel recommended some day trips and local restaurants, all of which were great. She was also flexible with check in and check out times which was super handy with the kids, and was very responsive throughout the trip when we had questions. We’d 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday and hope to return!

Great place right on the sand of a beautiful beach, with a short ferry ride into old town Faro. Ideal location.

L’hôte a été super dès notre arrivée : elle nous a tout expliqué et fait visiter l’appartement et les alentours. Il y avait de petites attentions très appréciables comme du café, du thé et de l’eau à disposition. L’appartement était impeccable, conforme aux photos, très propre, rien à dire au niveau de l’hygiène. Le lit est confortable et tout est pensé pour qu’on se sente comme chez soi, et c’est exactement ce que nous avons ressenti. Si nous revenons à Portimão, nous reviendrons ici sans hésiter. The apartment is very well located, near the beach and with many restaurants nearby. The coolest thing is the terrace because of the beautiful view. If you prefer to stay and enjoy time in silence, it’s a great choice. It's also very clean and has everything you need. And the hosts are very helpful and very responsive; we appreciated their help with anything. It’s a perfect place for a vacation.

En plus d’un appartement parfait, avec une localisation idéale, Miguel a su nous guider grâce à ses nombreuses connaissances sur Lagos… Il vous suffira de demander un renseignement à Miguel et il sera parfaitement vous aiguiller. L’atout majeur de ce logement, bien qu’il soit parfait n’est pas de dernier mais bien Miguel. Encore merci Miguel.

tolle Wohnung, wir fanden sie noch besser als auf den Fotos. super durchdachtes Schlafzimmer mit einem großen bequemen Bett und einen Schrank mit vielen Schubladen. Großes Bad mit viel Ablagefläche und warmem Wasser. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Pfannen in einem super Zustand, tolle Kaffeemaschine und alles in einem super Zustand. riesen Terrasse. Der Pool ist einen kurzen Fußweg Weg und mit einer guten Poolbillard ausgestattet. Die Innenstadt war uns mit kleinem kind zu weit weg, vor allem weil die Anlage auf einem Berg liegt. Wir sind mit dem Auto an Hafen und haben da kostenlos geparkt. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Tânia war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Raquel is one of the most communicative and responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. The location of this home is unbelievable. I fell in love with Albufeira from the first few hours i was there, and couldn’t believe how well-situated this place was to all the fun the area has to offer. ACs and most amenities worked well. I’m not sure if it’s a design related to homes in that area, but the open bathroom in the master bedroom, including the shower design, seemed impractical. I needed to rearrange items in that area, and wipe the floor/toilet after every shower. The iron was unusable due to a stain on the ironing surface, and risk of damaging clothes. The washing machine was small and not very effective. We needed to do a lot of loads to clean our clothes, then air dry them, but glad we had a washer! Overall, this is a great place, Raquel’s a great host, and i recommend booking, for anyone visiting Albufeira. Great for 2 ppl, but could accommodate a couple more too. Enjoy!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Pedro. L’appartement est juste sublime, on s’y sentait tellement bien que nous somme même partis avec un peu de tristesse. Le logement est lumineux,chaleureux ,spacieux. Nous y sommes allés avec notre petite fille de 14 mois tout était parfait pour elle aussi jeux enfant, vaisselle bébé, lit bébé, chaise haute, baby phone, baignoire bébé. Nous étions vraiment comme à la maison. La vue sur la ville et la plage était magnifique aussi. Un vrai dépaysement pour nous. L’environnement est génial il y a tout à proximité. Plage, piscine, magasin, De quoi retirer de l’argent en liquide en bas de l’immeuble. Tout était vraiment impeccable. Merci beaucoup Pedro pour votre disponibilité, votre réactivité et votre rapidité pour répondre au message. Nous espérons pouvoir revenir dans un de vos logements bientôt nous en gardons de magnifiques souvenirs.

Super Kommunikation mit Pedro. Immer eine schnelle Antwort bekommen. Sehr leicht zu erreichen und gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Check-In war super einfach. Wir haben 6 Nächte in der Unterkunft verbracht. (Hätten auch gerne mehr verbracht) Es war alles vorhanden was man gebraucht hat. Besonders gut fanden wir die ruhige Umgebung. 3 Swimmingpools und ein kleine Kinder/Babybecken. Sehr schöner Strand. War alles super. Vielen dank an Pedro.

Throughly enjoyed our 10 day stay in Colette’s spacious apartment. It was clean, well equipment and comfortable. Alto club had fantastic facilities and grounds are well kept. Colette is a great host, very helpful and informative. 100% recommend and I would love to return in the future. Ciara.

La localisation de l’unité, la tranquillité et la propreté des lieux étaient excellentes ! La configuration de l’unité permettait à tous les membres de notre famille d’avoir leur espace de tranquillité. La terrasse couverte était un gros plus et nous permettait de pouvoir manger à l’extérieur sans être constamment au soleil. Une très belle plage se situe à moins de 5 min en voiture et la route est très bien faite pour celles et ceux qui aimeraient s’y rendre à vélo. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen alles gut erklärt. Es ist wirklich alles, wie in der Beschreibung, reichlich vorhanden. Geschirr, Töpfe, Bestecke. Geschirrspülmittel, Spültabs, Waschmittel für Waschmaschine, Spüllappen, Geschirrhandtücher....... Auch in jedem Bad ausreichend Duschgel und Shampoo ! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

I completely endorse the comments that other guests have made. Ingmar’s apartment is a complete home with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay & offers value & quality. The location is excellent, a hire car is not really necessary as there are bus stops just metres away for trips to the east & west Algarve. For those who like walking the location is perfect for ambles along the coastline & to beautiful beaches. Alvor with its varied restaurants, fantastic beaches & long boardwalk is a must visit. The 3 brothers beach & its restaurants, Sol & Sombre & Canico offer excellent food & a lovely place to swim & sunbath especially if you have children. A day spent there followed by a walk back to Ingmar’s apartment makes for an enjoyable day & a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. For those who like a lively nightlife head to Roche. Ingmar is a up there with the best super hosts.

Fabulous Penthouse apartment, so very close to the beach and restaurants. Perfect location. Elisa, our host was super attentive, providing all the information we needed to ensure that our short break was a peaceful and relaxing experience. We had an early flight into Faro so Elisa arranged our transport ( Carlos was brilliant) and let us drop our bags off so we could get some lunch without the bother of dragging cases around. Elisa then messaged us at 1pm saying we could get in early as the penthouse was ready. During our stay Elisa made light touches to check that everything was ok which was most welcomed. A perfect host. Highly recommended.

Haben uns von vorne rein wie Zuhause gefühlt.Traumhafter Ausblick ob von der Couch/Balkon oder der Dachterrasse.Bett war super bequem.Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet ,sehr gemütlich & liebevoll eingerichtet.Lage perfekt für Ausflüge an die Algarve, Lagos Stadt ca 7 minuten mit dem Auto entfernt , Restaurant,Supermärkte...alles in der Umgebung .Zum Strand in 2,3 geh minuten.Parkplatz vorhanden. Wir würden aufjedenfall wiederkommen☺️Danke Carolina

if I could give Anita 10 stars I would. Met by the host, in this case Antonio, and shown everything about the apartment, ideas for activities AND given an incredible welcome package that allowed us 2 tired travellers to just relax on the balcony with nibbles etc. and a gorgeous view. Among other things, Beautiful, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and living room (love that "cuddle" chair). I could go on and on. You won't regret staying here. We recommend 100%!
