Vacation rentals with a kayak in Mexico

Don is a great host. Always responsive, as is his local host Diana. His place is truly special. We watched whales every day, snorkeled off his quiet beachfront and enjoyed an authentic dinner cooked by his recommended private chef. Just a fantastic stay. Highest recommendation. Photos don’t include rooftop sunset viewings which are a must.

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

We showed up Sunday the 25th. The house and property were well kept and everything we had hoped for. The view to the beach was absolutely incredible and we couldn’t have asked for more. Beds were comfortable,Linens were great. The air conditioners were amazing and kept the house at the temp we wanted. Oscar was absolutely amazing and helpful with anything we could have needed. He took a genuine interest in the things we were looking for and there for. The pool was gorgeous in the evenings and all the staff was doing an amazing job with the houses and property. We would and will be back there 100%. Couldn’t have asked for a better view, location to town, location to docks for fishing and better staff. We were all so over the top happy with our stay and we thank all those involved for making it a magnificent vacation and memory for us!!! Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful, private home right on the beach! Walkable to downtown, convenience store, restaurants, etc. The ocean was perfect for swimming and the sandy bottom goes out far! Our pool was also very refreshing. Beach bags and pool towels were provided. The bedrooms are all very nice and large, all with their own well stocked bathrooms. All rooms in this home have great views of the ocean! The kitchen is also well stocked, with plenty of seating and open to the family room. We had several flight problems causing us to arrive a day late. Rene was so kind and offered to have complimentary yummy pizzas delivered to us! Both Rene and Sonia were very helpful with organizing transportation for us, and recommending places to go during our stay. I would highly recommend staying in this amazing home! Thank you again Rene and Sonia for your generosity, kindness, and making us want to come back and stay in your beautiful home!

The hubby and I absolutely loved our stay! We loved the privacy and beauty of this place. We enjoyed watching sunrises from the palapa and star gazing on our balcony at night. This place oozes charm and I was so sad to leave.

Miguel’s place is wonderful, it was beyond our expectations and even more beautiful than what we expected. It was all clean and put together, Juan who is the person in charge is great and very helpful. We will be back definitely as we had a very pleasant stay. Just worth notice if you need to get to the little towns surrounding the place I would recommend renting a car. Great great location

Excellent accommodation with access to the private lagoon, you have all the amenities to have a great time, barbecue, kitchen, table, kayak. Very nice, we will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Cristina’s cottage. Perfect little spot for the two of us with a cute rooftop patio. The cottage was very clean and well stocked for our visit. By far the best part though was proximity to the beach, which often felt like our own private beach! We would definitely stay again!

The stay at the accommodation was very pleasant, because Mr. Carlos was very attentive and accessible to what we needed, always attentive and guiding us in everything, the house was clean, pleasant and had a spectacular view!! Excellent service!

What a beautiful and lovely cabin! All accommodations and appliances, furniture and mattresses are high quality and with good taste. The hosts are very accommodating and respond quickly for any inquiries we had. I highly recommend this place. The views are stunning , the beach is pristine clean with very soft sand and clear water and NO sargassum. Instead of going to playa del Carmen and the seaweed infested Caribbean - choose Gulf of Mexico instead! Have fun and definitely book this beautiful cabin in paradise. A quick hint: if you are driving in Campeche be careful of the local police. We have had some unpleasant experiences they are corrupt and ask for bribes if they stop you.

we had some trouble getting there because the direction and location given an Airbnb were absolutely wrong which unfortunately left us Walking In The Heat with heavy backpacks for about an hour and a half, communicating with the host who thank God was very responsive and ultimately send a taxi for us. once they were there the place was super cute, I would say there are a lot of cabins in the houses crammed into a small space that isn't quite apparent on the photos but it was very quiet although we did pull all the curtains to have some privacy. some staff giving a tour walked right in front of our deck as soon as we got there to show off the lounge area which is several stair steps down from where this cabin is. unfortunately have to close all the curtains all the time because people are walking around everywhere right at eye level. all on all we enjoyed it I thought it was a great location for the value and would certainly come back again

An amazing place, very well thought out for an unforgettable stay with the family. Its barbecue area with a gazebo is fabulous for gatherings, with a fire pit and curtains for when the cold arrives. Mrs. Ana welcomes you and treats you great!

I loved it! I rested deeply, enjoyed La Paz, everything was very nice. I could be connected at work while looking at the lake. The bed is amazing, they give you plenty of blankets in case you're cold, very attentive, they always answered very quickly. And very kind, I would go back without a second thought.

This Airbnb is an absolute treasure and was our highlight on the trip around puerto Vallarta. The hosts are both amazing and made us feel welcome from the first second we arrived. They were always making sure we had everything we needed. Although we only stayed two nights, we will miss them, it felt like family right away! The cabin: I have no words to describe how beautiful this little home is. It’s paradise, from the little decoration details, to the outdoor kitchen, and the bed (I need this mattress at home!) It was just a dream and we were very sad that we had only booked two nights. Thank you Benito and Chris for offering this beautiful place to people - it is truly a place we will remember forever! A side note: the snorkeling along the rocks in the bay is super beautiful - as a scuba diver I can highly recommend. Lots of pretty fish, we saw an octopus, lots of colourful reef fish and pufferfish alongside other cute fishies that made our days here even better.

Everything was great and it's just like the description. The host is very loving and attentive at all times.
