Great location near Piazza Rocco. You do need to walk down to the beach and Chianalea as the lift is out of operation. Follow Lorenzo's pictures starting in front of the Church in Piazza Rocco rather than rely on Maps. Lorenzo organised a taxi for us. Highly recommended

Our stay at Casa Colonica was like a dream! Nestled at the foot of Gerace, the views of the Ionian coast were simply magical. The house and pool were immaculately maintained and spotless. It's possibly the most remarkable place to stay in Calabria with children — peaceful, spacious and giving you an elequent country feeling but very close by car to both Locri and Gerace for anything you need. Mariagrazia and Vincenzo were warm, welcoming hosts. We would absolutely love to return!

Sin ninguna duda recomendaría este alojamiento para pasar unas increíbles vacaciones. El apartamento está impecable, ordenado y tiene de todo. Está muy bien ubicado en una zona tranquila y cerca de la playa, puedes ir andando. Pero sobretodo y lo que mejora la experiencia es el anfitrión Consolato, ha estado atento a nuestras necesidades a cualquier hora, siempre ha estado dispuesto a ayudar. Las reconvenciones sobre restaurantes y lugares que visitar han sido increíbles. Y sobre todo la respuesta a cualquier necesidad ha sido rápida. Repetiría la experiencia en cualquier de sus alojamientos.

Paolo, col l’aiuto di Stefania, sono stati ospiti impeccabili. Gentili e ospitali nell’accoglienza, ci hanno fatto trovare un alloggio in condizioni perfette dosato di ogni genere di comfort. La casa sorge su un’altura, ad un paio di km dalla rete viaria principale. È indispensabile essere muniti di macchina per raggiungerla. La realtà è migliore delle foto! Indimenticabile veranda esterna dove cenare e trascorrere del tempo in serenità guardando il mare. Gli spazi interni sono ampi e ben arredati. Ci siamo sentiti a casa!

Het is een geweldig huis. Om er te komen moet je met een enorme steile weg omhoog, maar Salvatore rijd de eerste keer voor je uit. Als je het huis aan de buitenkant ziet, verwacht je niet hoe groot en mooi het van binnen is. Het heeft een heerlijk dakterras om in de avond te zitten. En om de hoek ligt een kasteel ruïne. Het dorp heeft een bar en een ontzettend goed restaurant met een prachtig terras. In een klein kwartiertje met de auto, zit je aan het strand. En je zit zo in het natuurgebied. Wij hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad.

By far the favorite accommodation of our 3-week trip through Italy. The place is huge and extremely comfortable for our 6 person group - 3 adults and 3 children. With a fully gated private yard, our car was secure and kids safe playing without supervision. Panoramic views of Sicily and nearby beaches, hikes and town of Scilla made this location much better than expected. We prepared ourselves two home cooked meals and was the perfect opportunity to recharge after being on the go. The hosts greeted us with such a warm and energetic welcome. We could have easily stayed for much longer and explored the local area more. Thank you!!

Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Bildern abgezeichnet. Guisseppe hat alles getan um uns die Ankunft so entspannt zu machen wie möglich. Wir empfehlen im Vorhinein ein Auto zu mieten, um die Umgebung zu erkunden, da mann den nächsten Ort nur fussläufig über eine Landstrasse oder am Strand lang erreicht. Es gibt ein schönes Kaffee auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite. Der Strand ist leer und eignet sich hervorragend für einen Entspannungsurlaub. Wie kommen gerne wieder !

wir hatten in Lucys Wohnung sehr schöne 14 Tage verbracht. Es war alles vorhanden was man gebraucht hat. Eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit noch schöneren Ausblick direkt am Meer. Ich würde sehr gerne wieder kommen. Dankeschön Lucy liebe zvon Hilde und Uwe

Such a fabulous outlook over the beach and Duomo! Loved that we could walk to attractions, lungomare and restaurants.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Antonia war sehr angenehm. Die Unterkunft liegt im Herzen von Reggio Calabria. In die Innenstadt liefen wir ca. 5 Minuten, zum Strand etwa 15 Minuten. Ein Supermarkt, in dem wir alles Wichtige bekamen, war in ca. 7 Minuten erreichbar. Besonders praktisch waren die Nähe zum Flughafen (10 Minuten mit dem Auto) sowie zum Bahnhof (10 Minuten zu Fuß), von dem aus man günstige Ausflüge unternehmen konnte. Die Wohnung entsprach genau der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Sie war sehr sauber, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlagen im Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer machten den Aufenthalt auch an heißen Tagen angenehm. Über den Smart-TV konnten wir unsere Streaming-Dienste wie Netflix oder Amazon Prime problemlos nutzen. Antonia war eine tolle Gastgeberin – sie antwortete schnell, gab hilfreiche Tipps & Empfehlungen und erkundigte sich regelmäßig nach unserem Wohlbefinden. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen ! ☺️

We loved our stay in Scilla. The apartment was located on the fourth floor with a veranda overlooking the beach. We spent the majority of our time on the veranda . Comfortable seating and beautifully decorated. We look forward to coming back next year.

Wir haben zu dritt drei Nächte in Barbaras Airbnb in Reggio Calabria verbracht und waren rundum begeistert! Die Unterkunft war groß (2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder), super sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ideal gelegen – absolut zentral, sodass man alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Barbara und ihr Bruder sind großartige Gastgeber: offen, herzlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns tolle Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und Konzerte gegeben, die sich absolut gelohnt haben. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit – wir kommen gern wieder!

Carlo’s place was amazing! The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The apartment had everything our family needed for our short two night stay in Scilla. Scilla is a beautiful little town. Everything was walkable and the locals are friendly. The apartment is close to a small beach where we rented chairs and spent a good part of the day. The larger beach is walkable as well- it’s beautiful but more crowded. Carlo was very responsive and a great host! If we visit Scilla again, we will definitely stay here!

Pobyt był niesamowity. Pierwszy raz spotkałam się z taką gościnnością i chęcią pomocy ze strony gospodarza. Mieszkanie było wyposażone doskonale. Było tam dosłownie wszystko co mogło być potrzebne. Widok z ogromnego tarasu być cudowny. Bardzo blisko jest plaża, która w czerwcu była prawie pusta, również bardzo blisko znajdowała się restauracja z bardzo dobrym jedzeniem i przemiłą obsługa. Bardzo, bardzo polecam.

nous avons passé un très bon séjour. logement adapté pour des enfants, avec une belle terrasse. la maison est spacieuse et tres bien équipée. Michel angelo a été de bons conseils et toujours disponible lorsque j'avais besoin de lui demander quelque chose.

Thank you very much for our stay! Massimo is a great host, very responsive and also checked in regularly just to ensure we were all okay for everything. The directions given were very helpful. Thank you for allowing us to stay a little longer based on our early flights and later departure! We did indeed make the most of our short stay! The accommodation itself has actually exceeded our expectations, it was a lot more spacious than looks in the photos & very well equipped! It was homely, nice and tidy when we arrived. We indeed enjoyed our morning coffee in the balcony! :) It was very easy to travel with the busses, however on our first day before we got everything figured out it was a long and tiring day on our feet, we would recommend guests to look up local busses and taxis at arrival. The local beaches are not tidy, a lot of rubbish and not the most pleasant to swim in. We would recommend going to further beaches in Reggio, it took us around 30-40 min on the bus to get there.

We loved our stay here. Giuseppe is an attentive host and offers help and advice. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is one of the best equipped we have experienced, especially if you enjoy cooking as we do. The view from the kitchen window is stunning! The harbour side balcony view overlooking the Straights of Messina to Scilly is pretty unique. It is nearby to a busy road but that aside it is a great place to have a long sunlight even meal.

Una casa accogliente e piena di luce, dotata di spazi autonomi e un terrazzino abitabile dove tornare a respirare nel silenzio e prendere il sole. Un letto perfetto dove fare pace con le insonnie cittadine... È stato davvero piacevole trascorrere 5 giorni tra lavoro da remoto e relax in questo appartamenti che giorno dopo giorno diventava un po' casa mia. Difficile andarsene.
