Lovely stay in the centre of the walled town

I was in Florence for studies and despite the need to stay only one night, I was completely satisfied. The Duomo room is really very nice, and I particularly appreciated the design; it also has all the essential amenities. The "automated" check-in and check-out system is really very effective, however, if you need the host is always available to the contacts that will be communicated. In addition, the location is also extremely convenient as the property is perfectly located in the center of some of the main places in Florence, such as Palazzo Vecchio, the Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Croce. I would therefore recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant stay in Florence.

What a lovely room in a beautiful town, the hosts were friendly, spoke superb English and were ever so helpful, they recommended places to see, free parking areas and how to get to them with suitcases (pedestrian only area) as well as superb restaurants and even offered to book a table. There were discounted rates at a few restaurants through staying at the Palazzo. The accommodation is family owned and run and they are all welcoming and helpful. Great place

This is a great area. We loved the location. Had everything we needed for our overnight stay.

Tornabuoni’s place was exactly what we needed. It was in a perfect location. Walking distance from everything we wanted to see. He even recommended a parking garage which was a 4 minute walk from his place. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Burchio. Nice quite location. Great restaurant situated at the venue with excellent food and hospitality.

The location of this Airbnb is simply perfect — just steps from the Duomo and very close to Florence's top attractions. It was delightful to be able to explore everything on foot. The apartment is charming, it was clean and provided us with a comfortable stay. However, there are two important points to consider. The first is that the apartment is on a high floor and has no elevator. There are many flights of stairs, which can be quite tiring, especially if you have large suitcases or after a full day of walking. The second point is that there was a strong smell of sewage in the room for a good part of the time. Interestingly, when the shower was turned on, the smell decreased, which indicates that it may be a plumbing problem. These two factors compromised the experience a little. Still, if location is your priority and these points are not a major nuisance, it is worth considering. With minor adjustments, it would be an excellent stay.

Fantastic property in the ideal location close to all the sights

Clean and good air conditioning. Not a lot to do in the town and the only way to get around is expensive taxis, but the stay at the hotel was wonderful.

We chose Antonio’s space because it is near Pisa and Florence. We were pleasantly surprised to find a wheelchair accessible room in such a historical building and neighborhood surrounded by a variety of restaurants and shops. We parked free very close to our door. We felt very secure with a double-locked entry. The room was very peaceful, although when we exited our room, we felt like we had stepped into 18th century Europe! This was a good experience for two Texans who had a lot to learn about lots of traffic on small crowded streets. Another adventure was adapting to the hours of operation of the dining venues.

San Miniato is such a lovely village to visit, especially if you love good food and wine! Palazzo Essenza is the perfect place to stay, situated right in the square, close to everything, but also a peaceful place to spend a few days while you check out the local area. Antonio was super prompt with any queries and support, and the rooms are beautiful, well appointed and generously proportioned. I would highly recommend staying here.
