Located close to a deer crossing, and a walk to local beaches, the property has wildlife, eagles and large towering trees. The cottage was built using natural materials, kiln dried cedar planks and "shou sugi ban" exterior cedar siding. It is a 10-12 minute drive to Snug Cove. Top floor of cottage on the ocean with view across the straits to Nanaimo/Vancouver Island. Short ferry ride from the mainland. Located on the Sunshine Coast with incredible natural attractions and scenery. Ocean access directly in front of cottage. Skookumchuk Rapids is about 1 hour away. Gourmet dinning is just a 1. 2 kilometers walk away along the Ocean Beach Esplanade. Lots of kite and wind surfers, boats and barges pass in front of the house. Picnic on the beach and the sandbar out front.

A private deck offers a view of lush gardens and trees. Two chairs are positioned under a large umbrella, inviting relaxation. Flowering plants add color to the natural setting, creating a serene atmosphere surrounded by greenery.

It is one bedroom with a Queen-sized bed plus a fold down couch in the living room. There are also two single beds in the sleeping loft. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas range/oven, dishwasher, microwave and full-sized fridge. There is also a natural gas bbq available for guests to use.

A spacious living area features high vaulted ceilings with large windows allowing natural light. A stone fireplace is positioned in the center, complemented by a TV and simple decor. Comfortable seating surrounds a wooden coffee table, creating a cozy space for relaxation.

Roy Road Cottage is set on the backdrop of our waterfront property in Roberts Creek, a 15 minute drive from the Langdale ferry terminal. We have private beach access right off the property. There is no view of the ocean from the cottage. Well off the main road our waterfront acreage is a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. Our cottage is perfect for groups, couples, singles and families. We are open to long term rentals over the winter. Please enquire about pricing.

Close to Gibsons (5min), Sechelt (15min) and the quaint Roberts Creek Village, home of the famous Gumboot Cafe. Quiet, relaxing and peaceful. This well appointed cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay. **Please vote that the BBQ has been put away for the winter season.
