Kirkstead Suite @ Walcott Lodges

KevinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Easy to find, located behind a pub (pub is currently closed) the lodges are situated away from the pub itself & accessed via the pub car park. Plenty of dedicated parking outside the lodges, with a step to a decked area running along the front of them, to one end of this there is a sloped ramp allowing easier access. The lodge we stayed in was bright, airy, spotless, modern and had all of the basics to provide a comfortable night's rest. Each lodge has it's own en-suite shower room, with only tea & coffee making facilities, but after chatting to Nick, he said he might be able to provide a microwave & small fridge by prior arrangement. Although Nick is not on site, he is nearby & is VERY quick to respond to any questions you might have. We had a lovely stay, with the peace & quiet we were looking for, we would highly recommend Walcott Lodges & will certainly be using them again in the future. Thankyou Nick & Anna

Owl’s Hoot, a Lincolnshire gem

MaureenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lucky find! I met Caroline when I arrived at the property and soon felt like I’d know her for ages. She is a friendly, warm and lovely lady. ‘Little Gem’ is certainly the right name for Owl’s Hoot. It was immaculately clean and I could tell that a lot of thought and love had gone into the property. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cooking utensils and there was plenty of information about the property and the surrounding village provided. I loved my visit there an£ would very highly recommend this property.

The Store

Myself & my husband Paul stayed at this beautiful converted barn for 1 night, we also had an our Cavapoo Bailey who loved meeting Louise’s little dogs. The barn was very clean and had lots of entertainment for us to use. We walked into Woodhall Spa which is such a lovely village, lovely pubs and lovely food. We will definitely be back to stay here.

Linwood .

JudieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely barn in a very relaxing location. The oven was very badly unclean and the grill pan too. The high level shelves in the kitchen were not clean and the outside seating couldn't be used as they were covered in pigeon poo. We did report the sky going off which was resolved with both Amy and Jenny being very helpful. The windows being cleaned would have been appreciated during the 2weeks that we stayed. But we did enjoy the stay.
