Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mesnil-en-Ouche

I highly recommend choosing this beautiful house. This experience was perfect from start to finish. Laura is a wonderful host, always available and attentive. The house is simply perfect, the games inside and outside made our children happy. The house was clean and perfectly tidy. All amenities were functional. Thanks again to Laura for allowing us to spend such nice moments in this little gem.

We had a wonderful week in this house for two. Thanks to a brochure in the house, we took a circular hike in the area every day and experienced a very beautiful region of Normandy, away from the tourists. One day in Honfleur was also very nice. We were able to eat in the garden almost every evening and enjoyed this quiet environment very much. A very pleasant neighborhood. Great large living room with the huge window into the garden. For sleeping, it has bed linen and wool blankets that you put on yourself.

We had a great time at La Bigotiere! Calm and nature at the rendezvous.

A stunning Airbnb surrounded by the tranquility of nature and some lovely animals. The gite is spotless and designed beautifully, and there are lots of wonderful walks to do nearby. Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive and even gave us some eggs from their chickens for breakfast, which were delicious. Highly recommend staying here for a calm, relaxing stay surrounded by the French countryside.

Our stay in Jean’s house was perfect for the 4 days we spent there. Lawrence ( Jean’s son ) was our contact and he was always friendly and helpful. The position of the house is ideal, the garden delightful and just a few steps from the restaurants,shops and various delights Bernay has to offer. We had two excellent nights at Déborah's cottage, the environment is very peaceful, perfect for unwinding. The pool is large and at an ideal temperature for those who are sensitive to the cold like us. The accommodation is close to many stud farms for animal and nature lovers.

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again. The location is terrific— an easy short walk to all the tourist sights, but the apartment is very quiet at the same time, since it is in a courtyard on a small street. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants located near by. The apartment is in an older building with 15 foot ceilings, fireplaces in each room and other historic details, so it has some charm. Visitors should know that there is only one bathroom, which is accessed only by entering into the primary bedroom— that arrangement was fine with us but may not work for all groups. Second, the owner only provides provisions for the first morning, so visitors staying longer should be ready to buy coffee, tea, hand soap, shampoo, any paper goods, laundry pods if you plan to do more than one load, etc. There are many stores nearby so that is easy to do. We loved Rouen and this apartment was a great home base.

I had a great time despite the hasty departure I had to make... The accommodation was comfortable and quiet with a peaceful environment. i recommend it!!!

A great place to stay with an ocean view and parking

The accommodation was really very clean, very well furnished and equipped. Close to the city center, train station and rather easy parking near the apartment. We enjoyed our stay, if I had a comment to make it would be the lack of a shutter or blackout curtain in the room.

The accommodation offered is very functional, cozy, tastefully decorated and generously equipped. We could have stayed there several nights without difficulty. Very positive.

We had a great stay in Rachel and Pierre's apartment with private parking. The apartment was located on an island in the Seine from where you could walk within 10 to 15 minutes to the beautiful center with an extensive choice of shops and restaurants and cafes. From Rouen we made a trip almost every day such as to Giverny (house and garden and ponds of Claude Monet), Vernon, Caen, Honfleur, Etretat and every evening Rouen. In short, we enjoyed our stay.

Functional accommodation decorated and furnished tastefully. Equipped kitchen with utensils, spices and condiments available. Washing machine with detergent, not used but maybe convenient. Very nice accommodation.

Lovely holiday destination. Private area with parking,view of the bay. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner personally met us and showed us everything. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back in the summer

Our stay at Régis's place was a delight. We particularly appreciated the ease of access with the secure parking, the proximity to the city center on foot and the brightness of the apartment as well as the private terrace facing the Normandy bridge which was the cherry on top. Régis was very responsive and attentive to us. All this made Honfleur a real favorite!

The location is superb with sea views and beautiful sunsets that replace the TV. Perfect description and lovely residence. High up for sure, but the view is breathtaking with easy access and close to the beach. We advise you upon arrival from the station to the apartment to take a taxi and then everything is done on foot. One thing is for sure, we won't go to the hotel anymore but we will come back to James's place. Thank you to Nadege for the pleasant welcome
