Here is the perfect starting point for hiking, biking and excursions to nearby France and Luxembourg. Many good restaurants and shopping facilities can be reached in a few minutes by car. Parking directly in front of the house on the street.

Our cozy apartment for max. 2 people is located in the beautiful village of 66663 Merzig-Brotdorf. Brotdorf is the starting point for many bike tours in Saarland. Due to the central location, many excursion destinations can be reached in a short time. Beautiful hiking trails are also in the immediate vicinity. Hilbringen Castle, vacation in the tri-border area

Hilbringer Schloss is located in the green district of Merzig-Wadern and in the border triangle of Germany, France and Luxembourg. The castle has origins until the 13th century and was rebuilt around 1745. In July 2020, we, this dreamy listed property acquired and has since renovated significantly. The apartment (52 m²) is located in an apartment building on the 2nd floor in the city center. It has a living room with double sofa bed, satellite smart TV, DVD Dining area for 4 people, open sleeping area (curtain) with double bed and wardrobe. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, grill, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, espresso and coffee maker, toaster and raclette. Large southwest balcony with seating, awning and privacy screen.

The new apartment with 27 m² consists of 1 living/dining room, 1 bedroom and bathroom. The bunk bed sleeps 4. The sofa bed is also comfortable. A crib + highchair are also provided. The outdoor facilities, tables, grill, trampoline, toys, etc. may also be used. Our area is very nice, many great hiking trails, vineyards, etc. Playing together with the children (daughter is 5) and sitting together is also not uncommon with us. Pets are welcome.
