Vacation rentals with lake access in Merimbula

"Aroona" is a rare find in the Airbnb world. A well-thought-out country residence with all the comfy facilities of your own home, a great kitchen, private, peaceful and with a view to die for. The best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Even the windows were spotlessly clean. Well done fellow hosts, you have created a gem! For future visitors I recommend the free Gaia GPS app for local navigation. It has all the walking trails.

Katie’s house at Wonboyn was absolutely brilliant. The location was superb being lakefront with amazing views over the inlet. The house was spacious and easily accommodated my adult kids and oartners. It was a bonus to have access to a boat and several kayaks from the private jetty. All this on the doorstep to the stunning Beowa National Park. Katie was a terrific host and very responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this accomodation and will definitely be back.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

We had a wonderful few days at this fantastic beach house. The view from the deck is even better than the pictures (although it gets hot in the afternoon). A quick walk to Bar Beach, Short Point and the Wharf, and an easy stroll into town (less easy on the way up but the view makes it worth it!) Friendly and responsive hosts, good amenities - would definitely come back again.

Beautiful and peaceful accommodation with fantastic view and surroundings. House is beautifully decorated. Amazing kitchen with view. Linen, bedding was all top quality. House has 2 beautiful bathrooms (one of them ensuite). Both had bathtubs with fantastic view to outdoors. Good size swimming pool. Laundry with 2 washing machine and dryer. Kayleigh and Angel provided clear instructions to access property and were quick with the response to our questions. We enjoyed staying in the house and would definitely recommend.

Had a most wonderful stay at Fishpen Retreat. The property is super private, with lots of natural light, spacious with great living, dining and outdoor spaces. Peter was very responsive, and was so kind to supply firewood, with kept us warm and cosy throughout the evening chill. All amenities required were available for a very comfortably and cosy stay. Location is perfection! Right across the road from beach & Mitchie’s jetty and Merimbula lake on the opposite side. An easy walk into town if required - you cannot go wrong here! Highly recommend for a relaxing stay anytime of the year, warm or cold weather. Having stayed at many places in Merimbula in the past, can definitely say that this will be our preferred choice of accommodation for future visits. We had a great stay, our dog was happy and the backyard area was good for him. Plenty of pet friendly areas around Pambula and possibly the best fish and chips we've ever had. The location is pretty central for day trips to Merimbula, Eden, and other places. The bed was very comfy (I mention this as someone who often finds mattresses in accommodation to be somewhat lacking in comfort). All in all we had a lovely time!

The accommodation and facilities were excellent. Walking distance to the shops and the beach. Just wished we could have e stayed longer.

Lee is a wonderful host and her place is cozy and quiet. The location is excellent, with beaches and restaurants in easy walking distance. I was slightly concerned that it is in a complex but this was not a problem at all. The place was quiet and peaceful and we had a great time. You have your own private garage with an automatic door, your own small backyard to chillax - like being in a home. Lee gave many great local recommendations and was very responsive throughout. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Accommodation could not fault, quiet are on the edge of town but still only a short walk into the town. Would highly recommend.

Everything was easy from our initial enquiry through to checkout. All Communications were answered very promptly & very politely. The apartment lived up to all of our expectations. It was beautifully clean & comfortable with everything we needed in the kitchen & laundry. The bed was extremely comfortable. The best thing was waking up to the view over the estuary each morning or sitting on the deck with a drink in the afternoon with the cool sea breeze drifting over us. The town & beach are a very easy walk away as is the local boardwalk, which is well worth doing. Try the cafe at the end of the boardwalk. Thanks Ree, it was a great holiday.
