Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the farmyard in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation was renovated to a modern standard in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-fashioned granny's house. Our farm is located in a quiet suburb of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. In our yard, there are rabbits, chickens, cats, and a dog. A trampoline, a go-kart and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill. In the summer of 2026, a yard sauna will be available.

One bedroom apartment in Oulainen Matkaniva

A studio apartment in a garage building, with a kitchenette equipped with two burners, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, and basic dishes. Linens and towels are provided. Shower in the toilet, note the 30-litre water heater, there is enough hot water for about 5 minutes. The car can be charged or heated from the wall sockets. Missing oven and dishwasher. Cozy sauna cottage in a beautiful rural landscape. Quiet private space, fireplace, toilet, shower and wood-heated sauna (underfloor heating in the premises). A large terrace and barbecue are available. You can rent a hot tub or a smoke sauna in the yard separately. Extra beds can be booked as shared accommodation in the main building. Extra mattresses are also available for children. Space to move and play in the yard. In the common areas, there is the possibility of using the kitchen and washing machine.

Forest ranger's cabin

Spend the night in an atmospheric cottage! In the same place, in the 19th century, there was a forest ranger's cabin. The current cottage, built in the 1950s, and its surroundings will tell you about the past. The cottage has electricity, an air heat pump and a water point in the sink. The room has two bunk beds, 4 blankets, 8 pillows and sheets. Important things to note: outdoor toilet and yard sauna (1992) with hot water boiler and shower. There is a new lean-to and a campfire area in the yard.

A really nice holiday home in Kalajoki's Hiekkasärki. This unique and stylish apartment is located on a sandy beach by the sea. Marina Dyynikylä is located between the sea and a landscaped pond. The marina area will be built into a high-quality and maritime holiday and recreation center of the Hiekkasärkkien tourist center. This 2-story 88m2 vacation home was completed in the fall of 2023 and was commissioned in 052024.

Cozy little cottage with sauna

A tiny cottage in the countryside. Here you can hear the murmur of the stream and the singing of the birds. It is easy to get here by taking an exit from Highway 8. You can park right in front of the cabin, and there is also a car heater available. All facilities are for your private use. There are three wonderful sandy beaches nearby.
