Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" located just below the cottage. You can also enjoy the hot tub in summer as well as winter. If you want speed and excitement, there are many possibilities: Alpine hiking in Glomfjord, walking on Svartisen, skiing in the Meløy Alps, island hopping along the Helgeland coast and more. The apartment is located on the venerable Jæra in Glomfjord, here you can find tranquility with a lighthouse in the fireplace and enjoy a fantastic view with fjord and mountains as your closest neighbors. Sitting inside enjoying good food and drink while the wind blows at its worst outside. Or you can take the trip out and experience fresh Northern Norwegian air and nature up close in all kinds of weather. Here it is a short way to the fjord and mountain water for those who want to try their fishing luck or just go for a long walk.

Large cabin with lovely views, boat and sauna

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna barrel right by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new from July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top trips and smaller family trips for you.

Stabburet, Nordeng

Stedet ligger ca 1 km fra fergekai på Ågskardet, like ved sjøen. Utsikt fra huset, til fjord og fjell i området. Gode mulighet til fjellturer, både enkle og mer krevende. Passer best for 2, el liten fam. Huset er fra 1800-tallet, men renovert og nytt bad m dusj i 2017. Tidligere stabbur, men bolig siden 1946, og har beholdt noe av det opprinnelige preget. Utstyrt for enkel matlaging, med hybelkomfyr. Kjøl og frys. Elbillading bare etter avtale på forhånd. Et soverom, bratt trapp opp.

BOLGA, a remote IDYLL N of the ARCTIC CIRCLE

Bolga is a beautiful island on the Helgeland coast with approx 85 friendly inhabitants, a grocery store and a tavern. Exciting conditions for hiking, climbing, bouldering, kayaking, diving, seakiting, fishing and foraging. The cottage is situated in the south-west corner, 2 km easy walking from the harbour. Daily connection with the mainland by ferry or local boat to/from Ørnes and express boat to/from Bodø/Sandnessjøen. You may observe the amazing Northern Light from September.

Family cottage in a great location and view

Great cabin for a family trip or a walk with your girlfriend. Peaceful and quiet in lovely surroundings. The cabin is about 1h and 15min away from Bodø Good cabin standard with running well water, hot water and shower. The toilet is indoors in the bathroom and bio toilet type. Private barbecue area where the fireplace can be enjoyed in both rain and sun. Wood is brought or can be purchased by the host for NOK 200 per 40l sack

Svartisen Northern light

Welcome to Svartisen Northern light. The cabin is located by the seaside and has a private dock. You can also find a telescope inside the cabin, and during the winter this is the place to observe the Northern lights when the sky is clear. The boat to Svartisen are approximately 400 m away from the cabin, so this is a perfect place to start glacier hiking. If you like fishing there is fishing gear available.
