This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Reservei o espaço para uma despedida de solteiro. Posso afirmar que todas as 11 pessoas ficaram extremamente contentes com a casa, disponibilidade do sr. Marcos e restante equipa, limpeza, comodidades e principalmente a localização da casa. Era exatamente o que procurávamos, para o tipo de férias que queríamos fazer. Fomos sempre muito bem aconselhados, informados, bem recebidos, não nos faltou nada. Uma terra linda, com atividades e locais de visita obrigatórios. Uma boa relação preço-qualidade para quem procura um bonito refúgio da vida de cidade. Muito obrigado. Voltaremos.

Foi apenas uma estadia de uma noite, mas o espaço é muito acolhedor, impecavelmente arranjado e decorado. Limpeza imaculada. O contacto com a Andreia não foi presencial apenas por minha culpa devido à hora tardia de chegada e também hora de saída muito cedo. Contacto sempre muito fácil e rápido, quer por telefone, app de mensagens (...) e mesmo através da app do Airbnb. Um local excelente para partir à descoberta da Serra a Estrela. Recomendo a 100%.

The view is amazing and the place is very peaceful. Bring some supplies with you as the nearest supermarket is 15m away (by car) and enjoy the nature. Everything was as announced, clean and with everything needed to cook.

From the time we met Rogerio, we felt like we were staying in a friends home. He is so thoughtful and welcoming. The place itself is charming and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

João was an incredible host. Friendly, proactive giving us lots of recommendations and tips on local spots and where to go. The place is very cozy, and a truly Portuguese “Aldeia”. It is quite isolated, so for those that enjoy peace and being deep in nature, this is the place. If you are looking for some time away from the busy city life, this is the place. Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely incredible stay! The house is even better than the pictures, and our host could not have been more wonderful, flexible, accommodating and welcoming. A few highlights that aren’t immediately obvious: fresh bread delivery every morning, kitchen is wonderful and very easy to cook in, charcoal grill outside is fantastic - and lovely for grilling fresh fish in! (ask if fish is available from the local fish monger!). You can also easily do a day trip into Porto from this hidden paradise. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ricardo and his father Mario, or this amazing villa!

Casa perfeita especialmente para o verão, extremamente bonita e com uma decoração impecável e criativa, fez com que a experiência fosse muito mais memorável. A Carolina e a sua irmã foram queridas e a comunicação foi ótima e constante. Tudo limpo e com tudo o que é necessário. A piscina foi agradável com uma vista maravilhosa para as montanhas. We had a great stay at Antionio's place. Very relaxing setting on the edge of the village. So nice to be able to let our dog run freely in a fenced compound with beautiful fruit trees. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Cannot recommend Diogo’s place highly enough! The surroundings and the house are incredible, and Diogo was such a helpful host. We were a big group without a car and Diogo even took us to the local supermarket when we arrived. He is a very responsive host, answered all our questions promptly and had no problems offering an early check in. We had a fantastic time.

Het was een heel mooi huisje, klein, maar alles was van goed materiaal, fijne douche, mooi ingericht met leuke houtdetails. We sliepen heerlijk met de ramen open en het geluid van het riviertje, verder was het helemaal stil ‘s nachts. Buiten fijne terrassen, heerlijk met onze voeten in het riviertje gezeten, een fantastische omgeving, helemaal vrij uitzicht aan de achterkant van het huis en een lieflijk gehuchtje. We liepen elke dag een half uurtje naar Gois, een mooi dorp met rivier en heerlijke gebakjes bij de paladeria. Wij vonden het heel fijn!

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

A really great place close to the main square in Covilha. Very comfortable and well designed interior with two good sized and self contained bedrooms. No parking outside but there is an underground carpark close by (hourly rate) so it wasn’t a problem.
