We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Lagar da Vela

Old olive oil mill, recovered in 2005 and located in the village of Vela, Serra da Estrela region. It has maintained its identity, but now with decoration and a set of features that guarantee all the comforts. At Casa do Curral, you can find all the comforts for a good stay away from the crowds and in the tranquility of a small mountain village. Walking tours through the Teixeira stream valley, along the old postal route, offer different landscapes in each season. The House is located in Ramela, a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Guarda with 218 inhabitants, composed of 4 attached villages: Aldeia Nova, Aldeia Ruiva, Serra da Borja and Dominga-Feia.

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).
