Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. Among other things, there is a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eater Giovanni Midwoud that also delivered. There is a motorboat available for a fee. Our cozy airbnb is located in the Weere, a beautiful and authentic place in the greenery. The rooms are ideal for travelers who want to enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature of travelers who are passing through. The surroundings are perfect for discovering several beautiful places in the Netherlands. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Volendam and Amsterdam are all within half an hour driving distance. You are fifteen minutes to the IJsselmeer and with half an hour to the beach.

Rural cottage

Get away from it all, enjoy nature on the edge of the IJsselmeer and beach. In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

"Achter de Turf" new house on the water

Welcome to our lovely home 'Achter de Turf' in Medemblik. Located on the through water. At the front there is ample parking for your car, and you can come by boat, you can moor it in the Westerhaven. The house offers plenty of comfort and is located within walking distance of the center, where shops, catering and cozy terraces are present. Medemblik is located on the IJsselmeer and the surrounding dike where you can enjoy the West Frisian area. Amsterdam is 50 km away.

Houten Wammes is a cozy, modern holiday home suitable for 2 to 5 people and is located on the edge of the IJsselmeer, in the village of Andijk (North Holland). Located on a dike in the typical West Frisian landscape, you can enjoy nature in peace. If you like cycling, hiking or swimming: this area has a lot to offer. The house consists of a spacious entrance, open kitchen, cozy living room, modern bathroom, a spacious private (and very privacyful) garden.

"Papenveer", a beautifully situated holiday home

In the beautiful West Frisia in Oostwoud, we rent out a 4-person holiday home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is in a small vacation park. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. Papenveer is a cozy, spacious cottage equipped with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Romantic stay with a view from your bed on the water and a double swing From the love-seat, you can watch the TV or the fireplace (heating) and you will have it cozy in winter or in summer you can enjoy reading or playing games outside on the terrace at the water. Kayak or 2 supboarding can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the pipo and all alone for you/you.
