My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. My home is located in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of town close to parks, trails, the Eel River and the 4-H fairgrounds which is just around the corner. VIBRANT EVENT CENTER 1.9 miles away. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere you want to go in Logansport from this location. If clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing quarters is what you desire during your stay with easy access to anywhere in Logansport, than this is it.

This is a rustic cottage with old world charm. There are 2 fireplaces,.
