Absolutely magical! This cabin getaway exceeded every expectation and then some. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were — it truly felt like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Yet, we were just a short drive away from town, so grabbing groceries or anything else we needed was incredibly convenient. The cabin itself is incredibly spacious, with more than enough room for the whole family to spread out. We made so many wonderful memories together — cooking meals, playing games, sharing stories by the fire — but we also appreciated that there was enough personal space for everyone to unwind and relax on their own when needed. One huge bonus: tons of space for boat parking! If you’re into water activities, this is a fantastic spot to bring your gear and make the most of the nearby lakes. Everything you could possibly need for a fun, relaxing, memory-filled getaway is right here. We can’t wait to come back!

Very comfortable home with split floor plan with bedrooms on separate sides. Extra large couch for movie nights to relax. Half acre fully enclosed backyard with fire pit to enjoy the night and let your pets run. Plus extra space in backyard screened in with extra TV to watch the game and drink a beer at a homemade bar. Only 1 minute to the state park boat ramp, trails, and quick commute to downtown South Boston. Great for contractors and professionals looking for long-term stay.

There are 2 single kayaks, and firepit.. The gourmet kitchen is well equipped with whatever you need. In season, there is an herb garden for guest use. The home is set in a quiet neighborhood that allows privacy. There is extra sleeping space with a queen size air mattress and 2 sofas (not sofa beds)..

The dock provides a great place to relax and eat and drink. The water off the dock is 7ft deep, so jump right in. It is possible to tie a boat up to the outside of the dock so feel free to bring your own or rent one from the nearby Marina.

This was a great house to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family. the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to put on a big family dinner. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The dock was nice and provided a beautiful scene. It was too cold to take advantage of the lake, but the view was great. My suggestion to you if you plan on staying here is bring everything you need... closest store or restaurant is more than 20 minutes away.

Andrew's house was exactly as described and depicted. It is well-outfitted for guests, both inside and outside. His communication was outstanding both in terms of response times (pretty much immediate replies) and providing information. His house manual is probably the best one I have seen. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely hope to rent his home again.

I cannot say enough nice things about Sarah and her place. The space was absolutely beautiful and functional. There were tons of great amenities and a well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, things to cook with). Sarah herself was an amazing host. She went above and beyond for me when I had a booking issue. She always responded very quickly. She even left our group some donuts, which was the sweetest surprise upon arrival. This house was perfect for our weekend book club retreat. We made so many memories and hope to be back next year!

Sarah’s home was the perfect place for a muchneeded rest and reset. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful lake view such a peaceful experience! Helpful tip for future guests: if you plan to spend time down at the dock, bring a snack and a few beverages with you, you’ll definitely feel the burn going up and down those stairs! Overall, a lovely stay and I’d definitely return.

We loved our stay at the lake house! It was on a quiet part of the lake and was very peaceful and beautiful. We spent a lot of time enjoying the kayaks, paddleboards and just hanging out on the dock. The house was gorgeous, clean and very well stocked. We also enjoyed the decks, firepit and large yard. Would definitely recommend Michelle's house!
